LAMINATE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, AND COMPOSITION FOR ADHESION
A laminate comprising: a layer (A) comprising a resin not having active hydrogen in a main molecular skeleton thereof; and an adhesive layer (B) being at least in partial contact with the layer (A) and comprising a composition for adhesion, wherein the composition for adhesion satisfies the following requirements (i) to (iii): (i) comprising a polyolefin being a product of reaction between polyolefin (a) having a group that reacts with a carbodiimide group and a carbodiimide group-containing compound (b); (ii) comprising a carbodiimide group in an amount of 0.1 to 50 mmol per 100 g of the composition for adhesion; and (iii) having a density of 0.870 to 0.940 g/cm.sup.3.
Compound, its preparation and use
The invention relates to a bis-polyisobutylene alcohol amine compound and compositions thereof. The invention also is directed to a new process for making the bis-polyisobutylene alcohol amine by reacting a polyisobutylene epoxide with a polyamine, optionally in the presence of a catalyst, a protic solvent initiator and/or a diluent. In addition, the invention further relates to the many uses of the bis-polyisobutylene alcohol amine including but not limited to its use in lubricants, surfactants, emulsifiers, resins, and the like.

The invention relates to a bis-polyisobutylene alcohol amine compound and compositions thereof. The invention also is directed to a new process for making the bis-polyisobutylene alcohol amine by reacting a polyisobutylene epoxide with a polyamine, optionally in the presence of a catalyst, a protic solvent initiator and/or a diluent. In addition, the invention further relates to the many uses of the bis-polyisobutylene alcohol amine including but not limited to its use in lubricants, surfactants, emulsifiers, resins, and the like.

Adhesive compositions comprising a copolymer of isobutylene repeat units and alkene repeat units are described. At least a portion of the alkene repeat units are bonded to a pendent nitrogen atom of a quaternary ammonium salt comprising a free-radically polymerizable substituent. The adhesive optionally comprises other components such as tackifier, unfunctionalized polyisobutylene polymer, plasticizer, and combinations thereof.

Adhesive compositions comprising a copolymer of isobutylene repeat units and alkene repeat units are described. At least a portion of the alkene repeat units are bonded to a pendent nitrogen atom of a quaternary ammonium salt comprising a free-radically polymerizable substituent. The adhesive optionally comprises other components such as tackifier, unfunctionalized polyisobutylene polymer, plasticizer, and combinations thereof.
