A water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition of the present invention includes a water-dispersible polymer, a carboxylic acid copolymer thickener, a polyacrylic acid thickener, and water. A ratio of the carboxylic acid copolymer thickener in the solid content of the water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is 0.1% by mass or more and 1.5% by mass or less. A ratio of the polyacrylic acid thickener in the solid content of the adhesive composition is 1% by mass or more and 3.7% by mass or less. A pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention has a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed from the water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition.

WATER-DISPERSED PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE SHEET

A water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition of the present invention includes a water-dispersible polymer, a carboxylic acid copolymer thickener, a polyacrylic acid thickener, and water. A ratio of the carboxylic acid copolymer thickener in the solid content of the water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is 0.1% by mass or more and 1.5% by mass or less. A ratio of the polyacrylic acid thickener in the solid content of the adhesive composition is 1% by mass or more and 3.7% by mass or less. A pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention has a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed from the water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition.

TWO COMPONENT (2K) CURABLE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION

The present invention is directed to a curable and debondable two-part (2K) adhesive composition comprising: i) a first part comprising: (meth)acrylate monomer; co-polymerizable acid; and, an electrolyte; and, ii) a second part comprising: a first curing agent for the monomers of said first part; a second curing agent for the monomers of said first part; and, a solubilizer.

WATER-BASED DISPERSION FLOOR ADHESIVE WITH HIGH DIMENSIONAL STABILITY

A single-component adhesive composition includes: an aqueous acrylic polymer dispersion comprising water and at least one water-dispersed acrylic polymer P; between 0.2 wt.-% and 2.0 wt.-%, preferably between 0.5 wt.-% and 1.5 wt.-%, based on the total composition, of at least one water-dispersed or water-dissolved cross-linker C that can react with carboxylate groups; and between 20 wt.-% and 60 wt.-%, based on the total composition, of at least one filler F with the mean particle size D50 of its primary particles being ≤10 μm, wherein said at least one water-dispersed acrylic polymer P contains free carboxylic acid groups. The composition is highly suitable as adhesive for floor coverings and shows good tack in the wet state and at the same time enables excellent dimensional stability of the bonded floor coverings.

WATER-BASED DISPERSION FLOOR ADHESIVE WITH HIGH DIMENSIONAL STABILITY

A single-component adhesive composition includes: an aqueous acrylic polymer dispersion comprising water and at least one water-dispersed acrylic polymer P; between 0.2 wt.-% and 2.0 wt.-%, preferably between 0.5 wt.-% and 1.5 wt.-%, based on the total composition, of at least one water-dispersed or water-dissolved cross-linker C that can react with carboxylate groups; and between 20 wt.-% and 60 wt.-%, based on the total composition, of at least one filler F with the mean particle size D50 of its primary particles being ≤10 μm, wherein said at least one water-dispersed acrylic polymer P contains free carboxylic acid groups. The composition is highly suitable as adhesive for floor coverings and shows good tack in the wet state and at the same time enables excellent dimensional stability of the bonded floor coverings.

Adhesive Composition

The present disclosure provides an adhesive composition. The adhesive composition contains (A) multi-stage latex polymer particles, (B) a linear diamine base, and (C) an ethoxylated surfactant. The (A) multi-stage latex polymer particles include (i) a first-stage polymer containing acrylic acid monomer and a first vinyl monomer, and (ii) a second-stage polymer containing a meth acrylic acid monomer and a second vinyl monomer, with the proviso that the second vinyl monomer is different than the meth acrylic acid monomer. The first-stage polymer is bound to the second-stage polymer.

A chloroprene rubber latex adhesive composition includes a carboxy-modified chloroprene-based copolymer latex (A) containing a copolymer of chloroprene monomer and an ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid and a polyvinylalcohol, a chloroprene-based polymer latex (B) containing a chloroprene homopolymer or a copolymer of chloroprene monomer and other monomer and a rosin acid metal salt and a chlorinated polyolefin resin emulsion (C), wherein the content ratio of the carboxy-modified chloroprene-based copolymer latex (A) to the chloroprene-based polymer latex (B) is 80:20 to 20:80 as solid matter.

METHOD OF MAKING FILM LAMINATES USING AMINE-REACTIVE ACRYLIC LAMINATION ADHESIVES

A description is given of a method of making film laminates using a lamination adhesive comprising (a) at least one acrylic polymer A with anhydride groups which are reactive with primary or secondary amine groups; and (b) at least one compound B with at least two amine groups selected from primary and secondary amine groups. The acrylic polymer A has a molecular weight of from 3000 to 50000 and the lamination adhesive is free of organic solvents, free of water and free of compounds with isocyanate groups.
