Two Step Adhesive System
Benzoylthiourea or benzoylthiourethane derivatives in organohalides as carriers for primers for two step adhesive systems are provided.
ADHESIVE SHEET, PROTECTIVE MATERIAL AND WIRING HARNESS
An adhesive sheet including a substrate and adhesive layers that are arranged on one surface of the substrate with a primer layer being interposed therebetween, wherein the adhesive layers include a natural rubber and a tackifier, the adhesive sheet has a volume resistivity of 11010 cm or more and a tensile modulus at 100% elongation of 50 MPa or less as determined in accordance with JIS K 6251, the adhesive layers have a probe tack of 10N/cm2 or less as determined in accordance with ASTM D 2979, the adhesive force between the adhesive layers having a width of 15 mm is 1.5 N or more, and the adhesive force between the substrate and the adhesive layers having a width of 15 mm is 1.5 N or less.
Adhesive tape
An adhesive tape includes: a sheet-like base; an undercoat layer that is laminated on the base and contains an acid modified compound; and an adhesive agent layer that is laminated on the undercoat layer and contains butyl rubber, an alicyclic saturated hydrocarbon resin and a multifunctional epoxy-based compound.
Tyre for vehicle wheels
Tires for vehicle wheels having reduced environmental impact and the components thereof, in particular reinforcing structural elements such as carcass structures, belt structures, flippers and chafers, include elongated reinforcing elements treated with resorcinol and formaldehyde-free cross-linkable adhesive compositions. The adhesive compositions include at least a) a rubber latex, at least b) an epoxide and at least c) a polyamine with molecular weight higher than 190 Daltons, including at least two amino groups selected from primary NH2 and secondary NH amino groups. In the structural element, these compositions confer an adhesion between cords and compounds that is comparable to, if not better than, the traditional RFL system in use in this sector. Furthermore, by suitably modifying the compound compositions in the reinforced structural elements and, possibly, also in the other elastomeric components of the tire, it is possible to manufacture tires while avoiding the use of toxic chemicals, such, as resorcinol and formaldehyde.
Aqueous adhesive composition for the bonding of wood
An aqueous adhesive composition comprises a phenol/aldehyde resin and less than 16% by weight of unsaturated diene elastomer latex. The phenol/aldehyde resin is based on an aromatic polyaldehyde bearing at least two aldehyde functional groups and comprising at least one aromatic nucleus, and on a polyphenol comprising one or more aromatic nuclei. If just one aromatic nucleus is present, the latter bears two or three hydroxyl functional groups in the meta position with respect to one another and the remainder of the aromatic nucleus is unsubstituted. If several aromatic nuclei are present, at least two of them each bear two or three hydroxyl functional groups in the meta position with respect to one another, it being understood that the two positions ortho to at least one of these hydroxyl functional groups are unsubstituted.
