ADHESIVE COMPOSITIONS FOR ANCHORING FASTENERS
An ultraviolet-curable (UV-curable) adhesive composition is disclosed. The adhesive composition comprises: A) an epoxy curing agent component; B) a microencapsulated epoxy resin component; C) an expansion agent component; D) a binder component; and E) a photoinitiator component. The adhesive composition is useful for forming an adhesive. In various embodiments, the adhesive composition is in the form of a stick. The adhesive composition is useful for securing a fastener (e.g. in a borehole).
GLUE FOR ROLLING PAPER
A glue composition of rolling/wrap papers that has stronger adhesive bonds and can be applied externally without a need for wetting the glue. The glue composition includes Bermocoll 320 and water. The glue composition is prepared by adding Bermocoll 320 in hot water with blending to prevent lump formation. The resulting composition can be cooled down at room temperature.
Transparent Solid Glue and Manufacturing Method Thereof
A transparent solid glue, in mass percentage comprises: 10.0%-50.0% of glycerol, 5.0%-20.0% of propylene glycol, 5.0%-30.0% of sticky substance, 1.0%-10.0% of stearic acid, 0-5.0% of vegetable oil, 0.5%-5.0% of protopine, 0.1%-5.0 of excipient, 0.1%-0.5% of preservative, and 5.0%-70.0% of deionized water, wherein the excipient is C.sub.12-16 saturated or unsaturated fatty acid salt. The prepared transparent solid glue has high initial viscosity; and the drying time is controllable so that the gluing position of the objects to be glued can be adjusted according to actual requirements, which is convenient to use, and the glue exhibits strong adhesion after completely drying. Meanwhile, the addition of protopine causes the pH of the solid glue to be between 10.49-10.99, and accordingly the solid glue is an environmentally friendly solid glue. Within a temperature range from −5° C. to 40° C., this solid glue is widely applicable to gluing paper, wood pieces, photographic paper, paperboards and etc.

GLUE STICK COMPOSITION
A water based glue stick composition includes adhesive and nanocrystalline cellulose. The composition is contained in a glue stick that can be used for planar joining of substrates to one another. The substrates can include paper and/or cardboard such as printer paper, photo paper and cardboard paper.
CORE-SHEATH FILAMENT WITH A THERMALLY CONDUCTIVE PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE CORE
A core-sheath filament having a) a core that is a thermally conductive pressure-sensitive adhesive particles and b) a non-tacky, thermoplastic sheath is provided. The thermally conductive pressure-sensitive adhesive in the core includes a (meth)acrylate-based polymeric material and thermally conductive particles. Friction-activated adhesive formulations and application devices
A solid thermoplastic semi-crystalline friction-activated adhesive composition comprising the mixture of: (a) from about 50 to about 100 parts by weight of a semi-crystalline adhesive polymer that comprises: (1) crystalline monomer having an alkyl carbon length of at least 16 carbon atoms; (2) non-crystalline monomer having a homopolymer T.sub.g below about 80° C.; (3) waxy, soft monomer having an average pendant alkyl carbon length of at least 14 carbon atoms; (4) monomer having acid or base functionality; (5) functional or non-functional macromere having a T.sub.m from about 40 to about 120° C.; (b) 0 to about 50 parts by weight of tackifier; (c) 0 to about 50 parts by weight of crystalline additive; (d) 0 to about 50 parts by weight of filler; (e) 0 to about 30 parts by weight of oil; and (f) 0 to about 50 parts by weight of one surfactant.
