Thermally expandable compositions comprising urea derivatives
The present application relates to a thermally expandable composition containing at least one peroxide cross-linking polymer, at least one peroxide and at least one endothermic, chemical blowing agent, the blowing agent comprising at least one solid, optionally functionalized, polycarboxylic acid or the salt thereof and at least one urea derivative according to the formula (I) as defined herein; as well as shaped bodies containing the composition and to a method for sealing and filling voids in components, for strengthening or reinforcing components, in particular hollow components, and for bonding mobile components using shaped bodies of this type.
PREPOLYMERS EXHIBITING RAPID DEVELOPMENT OF PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Hydroxyl-containing bis(alkenyl) ethers can be incorporated into the backbone of polythioether prepolymers and can be used as curing agents in thiol-terminated polythioether prepolymer compositions. Cured sealants prepared using compositions containing hydroxyl-containing bis(alkenyl) ether-containing polythioether prepolymers and/or hydroxyl-containing bis(alkenyl) ether curing agents exhibit improved physical properties such as rapid curing and compatibility with fillers suitable for use in aerospace sealant applications.
Frame-sealing agent, display panel and display device
The invention discloses a frame-sealing agent, a display panel and a display device. The frame-sealing agent comprises an acrylic resin, an epoxy resin, a thermal curing agent and an ultraviolet photoinitiator, wherein the frame-sealing agent further comprises a compound which decomposes to produce a gas under a condition of light irradiation, heating or high temperature. In the invention, by providing a compound that decomposes to produce a gas under a condition of light irradiation, heating or high temperature, when the frame-sealing agent is cured, the compound decomposes to produce a gas with the effect of light irradiation, heating or high temperature. The light leak of the display screen at the position of backlight is obstructed by the gas. Additionally, the pressure of the gas can retard the diffusion of liquid crystal molecules, so that the contamination of the liquid crystal caused by the too early contact between the liquid crystal and the frame-sealing agent and the relevant display badness are avoided.
Addition-curable silicone resin composition, addition-curable silicone resin cured product, and sealed optical semiconductor element
The invention aims to provide an addition curable silicone resin composition with excellent interfacial adhesion properties, storage stability and transparency. The addition curable silicone resin mixtures has a refractive index of 1.35 to 1.45 and includes a silicone compound having at least one group of the following formula: ##STR00001##
SEAL MEMBER
This seal member is a cured product of a silicone rubber composition that comprises a silicone rubber and silica particles, and has multiple insertion holes into which counterpart members are inserted; and this seal member satisfies the following conditions (a) to (d). (a) If X (parts by mass) is the content of the silica particles relative to 100 parts by mass of a base polymer of the silicone rubber, (elastic recovery rate (%))/(X (parts by mass)) is from 3.6 to 9.6. (b) The type A durometer hardness is from 15 to 30. (c) The tensile strength at break is 2.1 MPa or more. (d) The coefficient of kinetic friction of the surfaces of the insertion holes is 2.5 or less.
Thermally expandable compositions comprising polysaccharide
The present application relates to a thermally expandable composition containing at least one peroxide cross-linking polymer, at least one peroxide, at least one polysaccharide and at least one endothermic, chemical blowing agent; as well as to shaped bodies containing said composition and to a method for sealing and filling voids in components, for strengthening or reinforcing components, in particular hollow components, and for bonding mobile components using shaped bodies of this type.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REPAIRING AND/OR STRENGTHENING A POROUS STRUCTURE, AND UNIDIRECTIONAL CARBON FIBER MATERIAL FOR USE THEREWITH
A system and method for repairing and/or strengthening a structure. The system may include an epoxy paste filler, a primer, an saturant/bonding adhesive, and a unidirectional carbon fiber. The method may include application of a paste filler, a primer, a bonding saturant and a unidirectional carbon fiber. The carbon fiber may be applied between application of a first bonding saturant layer and a second bonding saturant layer. The amount and/or length of the unidirectional carbon fiber may be based on the type of damage (e.g., the type and/or location of a crack) to the structure.
Heat expandable foam
A composition for an expandable sealant including at least one polymeric material selected from the group consisting of low density polyethylenes (LDPE), linear low density polyethylenes (LLPDE), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), ethylene methacrylate (EMA), and ethylene-butyl acrylate (EnBA); and a chemical blowing agent, wherein the composition is substantially free of a cross-linking agent.
Electric linear actuator
An electric linear actuator has a housing with an electric motor mounted on the housing. A speed reduction mechanism and ball screw mechanism converts rotational motion to axial linear motion. A nut is rotationally but axially immovably supported by bearings on the housing. A screw shaft is coaxially integrated with the drive shaft. The shaft is inserted into the nut, via helical grooves and a large number of balls. The screw shaft is non-rotationally supported on the housing but is axially movable. The housing has a first housing and a second housing arranged with their end faces abutting against each other. Joining surfaces of the end faces of the first and second housings are sealed by a curing liquid curable material.
