All temperature water borne sealant
A wide temperature water borne sealant that can be applied at low temperatures. The sealant can be a latex sealant composition including at least one latex polymer, at least one freeze thaw stabilizer, and at least one peptone or at least one additive derived from a peptone. The latex polymer can be an acrylic latex polymer with a Glass Transition Temperature (Tg) of 0° C. or less. The peptone can be enzymatic hydrolysate. The sealant can remain pliable at low temperatures making it ideal for applications that require flexibility at low temperatures its' rheology and viscosity are such that it can be applied at temperatures below 0° C. The low Tg latex assures that the sealant will remain permanently flexible and non-tacky when cured, and the peptone provides the sealant with the means to prevent the water from freezing down to approximately −20° C.

Elastomeric seal
The present invention provides a seal comprising an elastomeric composite, said composite comprising an elastomeric polymer and a negative thermal expansion (NTE) filler, the NTE filler has a coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) lower than ?6?10-6 K-1 within a temperature range of 220-293 K and is present in an amount of 0.01-50 volume % based on the total volume of the elastomeric composite at 20? C.
Sealing Compound Housing and Electronic Control Device
The disclosure relates to a sealing compound that can be applied wet and is curable to form an elastic seal. The sealing compound contains a matrix material and a corrosion-inhibiting additive. In addition, a housing having the elastic seal as well as an electronic control device with the housing are disclosed.
CURABLE COMPOSITION FOR SEALING MATERIAL, AND PANEL STRUCTURE USING SAID CURABLE COMPOSITION
The present invention provides a curable composition that can smoothly follow dimensional changes in a sealing section, the dimensional change being caused by the heat during a fire, can reliably maintain a filling state of the sealing section, can prevent flames from penetrating through the sealing section, and can thus impart excellent fire resistance to a building structure. A curable composition for a sealing material according to the present invention is characterized by including 100 parts by mass of a curable resin and 10 to 150 parts by mass of a poorly water-soluble phosphorus-based compound. A cured product of the curable composition can stably maintain the closing state of the sealing section during a fire.
