The present invention relates to a moisture-crosslinkable composition comprising: at least one polymer (A) comprising at least one alkoxysilane group; at least 25% by weight of at least one carbonate filler (B) relative to the total weight of said composition; at least one compound chosen from bis(alkoxysilane)s or tri(alkoxysilane)s (C) having a molar mass ranging from 250 to 1000 g/mol; at least one crosslinking catalyst (D);
said composition being characterized in that it comprises a plasticizer content of less than or equal to 1% by weight relative to the total weight of the composition.

Provided is an organopolysiloxane compound acting as a chain extender for use in a room-temperature-vulcanizing (RTV) composition of a dealcoholization type that can be rapidly turned into a rubber and then exhibit a rubber elasticity. The invention relates to a composition and a method for producing moisture-crosslinking silicones with catalysis by at least two different catalysts A and B, a related process and the use of the composition, in particular, in sealants, adhesives, joint compounds or coating agents.
TWO-PART SILICONECOMPOSITION AND SEALANT AND ASSEMBLY MADE THEREFROM
The two-part composition includes a first part and a second part. The first part includes a vinyl-substituted polysiloxane, a hydrosilylation catalyst, expandable graphite comprising moisture, and first polymeric microspheres having been at least partially coated with inorganic filler. The second part includes a second vinyl-substituted polysiloxane, a hydrosilyl-substituted polysiloxane, and second polymeric microspheres having been at least partially coated with flame-retardant inorganic filler. The two-part composition is useful, for example, for curing into a sealant and making an assembly. The assembly has a first substrate and a second substrate with a cured product of the two-part composition in contact with the first substrate and the second substrate. Methods of making a sealant and an assembly are also described.
(Meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester polymer and use thereof
Provided are a novel acrylic polymer that has moderate crosslinking reactivity and is suitable for sealant applications and a sealant using the polymer. The (meth)acrylic acid alkyl ester polymer according to the invention has a weight average molecular weight (Mw) measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) method of 30,000 to 150,000 and a number average molecular weight (Mn) of less than 20,000 and has 1.1 to 3.0 methyldimethoxysilyl groups, more than 0.5 methyldimethoxysilyl groups at side chains of a molecular chain, and more than 0.5 methyldimethoxysilyl groups at molecular chain terminals, per one molecule of the polymer.
Bi-Functionalized Polysiloxane Brush Copolymers
The invention relates to a bi-functionalized polysiloxane brush copolymer comprising at least one hydroxyl-terminated polyalkyleneglycol side chain and at least one onium-functionalized side chain as defined herein, and a method for preparing the bi-functionalized polysiloxane brush copolymer, a curable composition comprising the bi-functionalized polysiloxane brush copolymer and its use.
SEALING MEMBER AND WATERPROOF CONNECTOR
The present disclosure provides a sealing member that includes insertion holes into which connector terminals are inserted, wherein the sealing member exhibits a high water sealability and damage caused when the connector terminal is inserted into the insertion hole is suppressed. The present disclosure also provides a waterproof connector that includes the sealing member. A sealing member 10 includes: a silicone rubber that is formed as a plate-like member; and insertion holes 11 that are formed in a plate surface of the plate-like member and into which connector terminals 20 can be inserted. The silicone rubber has an unnotched Charpy impact strength at −60° C. of 11.5 kJ/mm.sup.2 or more. A waterproof connector 1 includes the sealing member 10 and the connector terminals 20. The connector terminals 20 are inserted into the insertion holes 11 of the sealing member 10.
Sealant composition
The present invention is directed to a sealing composition comprising: (a) a polysiloxane; (b) a reactive polysiloxane comprising at least one reactive functional group; and (c) water; wherein the weight ratio of polysiloxane to reactive polysiloxane is from 2.7:1 to 4:1. Also disclosed are coated substrates and methods of coating a substrate.
ELASTOMER COMPOSITION AND SEALING MATERIAL COMPRISING SAME
To achieve properties such as a desirable compression fracture property, desirable compression set, and the like in the elastomer composition and the seal material using same. The elastomer composition of the present disclosure therefore includes an elastomer, phenol resin in powder form, and silica in powder form. The seal material of the present disclosure is obtained by crosslinking and molding the elastomer composition of the present disclosure. The seal material may be used in a semiconductor manufacturing device.
SEALANT MATERIAL
A sealant material for sealing threaded pipe joints that is a multifilament or spun polyphenylene sulfide yarn and a joint sealing composition comprising a silicone oil or a natural oil with a smoke point of about 230° C. or higher. The polyphenylene sulfide yarn is coated with the joint sealant composition. The material forms an effective seal and is resistant even when used in systems in which it is exposed to temperatures in excess of 280° C. The material may be provided in a dispenser.
