Emulsion coagulant, and flat tire repair kit using same
An object of the present invention is to provide a novel emulsion coagulant having excellent coagulability used in a tire puncture sealing agent, and a tire puncture repair kit that uses the same. The present invention is an emulsion coagulant comprising magnesium oxide and a silane coupling agent and a cellulose and/or magnesium hydroxide, wherein a mass ratio of the magnesium oxide to the silane coupling agent is from 100:0.5 to 100:15; and a tire puncture repair kit that uses the same.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SEALING PIPELINES
The present invention provides systems and methods for curing at least one leakage in a pipeline, the system including at least one fiber-in-sealant-in carrier fluid (FISIC) composition and at least one gel pig composition; wherein the at least one FISIC composition and the at least one gel pig form a pig train, are adapted to move along the pipeline to a region of the leakage and to seal and cure the at least one leakage.

Caulks
A composite caulk comprising paper wool, perlite, a particulated wood material having a particle size below 2 mm, a particulated fire retardant bark material having at least one axis of length with a dimension below 2 mm and a polyvinyl-acetate based aqueous dispersion adhesive; and wherein said composite caulk forms a heterogeneous caulk which can be dispensed using a handheld caulking gun.
Resin modifier and resin composition using same
Provided are: a resin modifier which is capable of imparting a resin with excellent moisture resistance, dimensional stability and optical properties; and a resin composition including the same. The resin modifier contains a compound represented by the following Formula (1): ##STR00001## (wherein, m represents an integer of 1 to 5; n represents an integer of 0 to 50; and R.sup.A, R.sup.B and R.sup.C each represent a hydrocarbon group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms, or a hydrocarbon group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms which has at least one atom selected from the group consisting of an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom and a nitrogen atom).
CELLULOSE ETHER COMPOSITIONS WITH IMPROVED WORKABILITY FOR USE IN GYPSUM SMOOTHING MORTAR AND JOINT FILLER APPLICATIONS
The present invention provides additives for dry mix or tape joint compound compositions comprising one or more cellulose ether powders containing on its surface one or more hydrophobic alkali swellable emulsion polymer (HASE), preferably, one that is not crosslinked or which comprises, in copolymerized form, no multi-ethylenically unsaturated monomer, and, optionally, an inorganic basic filler. The present invention also provides methods to make the additive comprising kneading at from 50 to 120 C. a wet cellulose ether mixture containing from 50 to 80 wt. % of water with from 0.5 to 25 wt. %, based on total cellulose ether solids, of the hydrophobic alkali swellable emulsion polymer; if desired, adding an inorganic basic filler, and drying and grinding. The additive can be combined with 0.1 to 20 wt. %, based on total cellulose ether solids, of a dry polyacrylamide.
