Solid inert residue (SIR) dryer and extractor system

Plastic conversion vessels such as pyrolytic reactors convert plastic waste materials such as polymers, or hydrocarboneous material, or both, via in situ chemical reactions comprising cracking, recombination, reforming, recracking, and the like, to usable chemical compounds such as naphtha, diesel fuel, heavy oil, wax, and the like. Inherent within the polymers and/or carbonaceous material are generally solid, inert residues such as various fillers, pigments, flame retardants, silica, aluminum, talc, glass, clay, and so forth. Such solid inert residues (SIR) must be treated to remove residual volatile organic material therefrom in order to meet acceptable environmental standards and/or limits. A heated dryer for treating the SIR comprises heating units to remove excessive volatile organic material therefrom as when moved along a conveyor that transfers said material to a collection area. The collection area comprises one or more pistons that are capable of compacting and discharging said SIR material. Another collection area embodiment comprises a plurality of plungers that transfer the SIR material from said collection area to a plunger collection area, and subsequently to a collection container.

Automatic dehydration, extraction and transportation apparatus for petroleum coke

An automatic dehydration, extraction and transportation apparatus for petroleum coke, includes a bottom cover device, crusher, coke chute and extracting device. The bottom cover device is at the bottom of a coke tower and connected to a coke storage pool via the chute. A grid net for filtering petroleum coke is horizontally provided in the lower part of the pool. A partition door is on an end, away from the chute, of a side pool wall of the pool. The extracting device enters and exits the coke storage pool through the partition door. A partition wall is between the partition door and the chute. The surface of the partition wall is opposite the chute, such that a corridor is formed between the other pool wall opposite the chute and the partition wall. One end of the partition wall is connected to the pool wall provided with the partition door.

Systems and methods for particle leak detection generally include a separation or collection device configured to filter particulate from a stream and a detection device downstream of the separation or collection device. The detection device can be positioned to detect particulate that passes the separation or collection device and can include a probe configured to detect the solid particles. The particle leak detection systems can be configured to be disposed on moveable systems, such as moveable systems in coke oven operations.
