FLAMELESS THERMAL OXIDIZER AND RELATED METHOD OF SHAPING REACTION ZONE
A flameless thermal oxidizer (FTO) includes at least one baffle constructed and arranged in a reaction chamber of the FTO to coact with a diptube of the FTO to radially expand a resulting “bubble” or reaction envelope from the diptube outward into a porous matrix of the FTO. A related method is also provided.

STEAM/CARBON RATIO DETECTION AND CONTROL
An ejector receives steam at a primary inlet and natural gas at a secondary inlet. A computer responds to a signal indicating current in the load of a fuel cell as well as a signal indicating temperature of a steam reformer to move a linear actuator to control a needle that adjusts the size of the steam orifice. Reformate is fed to a separator scrubber which cools the reformate to its dew point indicated by a sensor. From that, a controller generates the fuel/carbon ratio for display and to bias a signal on a line regulating the amount of steam passing through an ejector to the inlet of the reformer. Alternatively, the reformate may be cooled to its dew point by a controllable heat exchanger in response to pressure and temperature signals.

CONTINUOUS UTILIZATION OF INDUSTRIAL FLUE GAS EFFLUENT FOR THE THERMOCHEMICAL REFORMING OF METHANE
Methods and systems of the present disclosure can function to capture flue gas and convert the flue gas to a synthesis gas, which can be further processed to other components such as liquid fuels. Aspects of the present disclosure provide for a process designed to capture flue gas from large scale (i.e. ˜GW), fossil based power plants in a 24/7 continuous operation. In addition, the method and system can convert the flue gas to a synthesis gas (mainly carbon monoxide and hydrogen), which will be processed into high quality liquid fuels, like diesel.

HYBRID POWER PLANT FOR AUTONOMOUSLY SUPPLYING ENERGY TO BUILDINGS AND INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES
The invention relates to a hybrid power plant for autonomously supplying energy to buildings, in articular residential buildings, and industrial facilities which are arranged in an area that comprises a source of biomass. The hybrid power plant is preferably arranged in the vicinity of buildings and industrial facilities to be supplied in order to provide energy locally. The hybrid power plant comprises at least one system for generating power from renewable energy sources and a power-to-X device for thermochemically converting electricity from renewable energy sources and biomass into other energy carriers which are stored and converted back into electricity on demand. In order to supply energy to the buildings and industrial facilities to be supplied during dark doldrums, the hybrid power plant comprises one or more energy storage devices and at least one system for converting energy back into electricity. The supply of energy to buildings or industrial facilities by means of the hybrid power plant is climate and CO.sub.2 neutral.
PROCESS AND CATALYST SYSTEM FOR THE PRODUCTION OF HIGH QUALITY SYNGAS FROM LIGHT HYDROCARBONS AND CARBON DIOXIDE
The present invention describes a process and catalysts for the conversion of a light hydrocarbon and carbon dioxide input stream into high quality syngas with the subsequent conversion of the syngas into fuels or chemicals. In one aspect, the present invention provides an efficient, solid solution catalyst for the production of a carbon containing gas from carbon dioxide and light hydrocarbons. The catalyst comprises a single transition metal, and the transition metal is nickel.
