Plant and method for the production of hydrogen with the use and storage of CO2 using fuels

A plant and a method for the production of hydrogen and bicarbonate. The plant includes a gasifier, a reformer, a direct contact exchanger and an apparatus for the production of bicarbonate. The plant is suitable for receiving fuel, oxygen, water, carbonate, brine at the inlet and for producing hydrogen, bicarbonate and calcium chloride at the outlet. The plant uses a self-cleaning direct contact heat exchanger to cool the syngas downstream of the reformer and to produce the superheated steam that feeds the gasifier: this heat exchanger allows the production of hydrogen at low costs and in modular plants.

The invention disclosed a method for recycling rare earth elements from waste light-emitting electronic components by pyrolysis and alkaline melting-acid leaching. Based on the pyrolysis properties of the organic polymer, through catalytic pyrolysis of the organic polymer material in electronic components and convert the carbon in the residue into water gas, realize high-efficient dismantling of waste electronic component packaging materials. The traditional problems that the compositions of waste light-emitting electronic components are difficult to disassemble are solved, the generated pyrolysis gas and water gas can continuously supply energy for the pyrolysis system and recover the heat in the flue gas to save energy. Meanwhile, based on the chemical dissolution reaction mechanism of phosphors, the combination process of alkali melting, and acid leaching is used to efficiently recover rare earth elements from the waste light-emitting electronic components, and the step leaching of rare earth elements is realized. The rare earth oxalate can be recovered by precipitation, which greatly reduces the difficulty of late separation and purification.

HIGH-TEMPERATURE PYROLYSIS OF PLASTICS TO MONOMERS WITH HIGH CARBON TO GAS RATIO
20220010212 · 2022-01-13 ·

A high-temperature plastic pyrolysis process that can produce high yields of ethylene, propylene and other light olefins from waste plastics is disclosed. The plastic feed is pyrolyzed at a high temperature of about 600 to about 900° C. directly to monomers, such as ethylene and propylene. During pyrolysis, the plastic feed is contacted with a diluent gas stream at a mole ratio of carbon feed to diluent gas of 0.6 to 20.

CONVERSION OF PLASTICS TO MONOMERS WITH INTEGRATED RECOVERY WITH A CRACKING UNIT

A plastic pyrolysis process produces light olefin product and heavier products. The light olefin products are separated in a recovery process while the heavier product can be sent to a cracking unit to be further cracked to desired products. The cracked effluent stream may be subjected to the recovery process along with the light olefin product.
