Acid gas absorbent in biogas and biogas purification system using the same
Disclosed is an absorbent containing an amine for absorption of an acid gas in a biogas, and a biogas purification system using the same.
Absorption column having external heat exchange circuit
An absorption column including at least one external heat exchange circuit for cooling or heating the absorption liquid, including one or more serially connected heat exchangers, wherein the junction of the pipeline for withdrawal of the absorption liquid from the column is disposed above the junction of the pipeline into the first heat exchanger in the flow direction, wherein the pipeline also includes a dumped bed.
PROCESS FOR SEPARATING A PRODUCT GAS FROM A GASEOUS MIXTURE UTILIZING A GAS PRESSURIZED SEPARATION COLUMN AND A SYSTEM TO PERFORM THE SAME
A gas pressurized separation system strips a product gas from a stream yielding a high pressure gaseous effluent containing the product gas such as may be used to capture CO.sub.2 from coal fired post combustion flue gas capture and to purify natural gas, syngas and EOR recycle gas. The system comprises a gas pressurized stripping column allowing flow of one or more raw streams in a first direction and allowing flow of one or more high pressure gas streams in a second direction, to strip the product gas into the high pressure gas stream and yield a high pressure gaseous effluent that contains the product gas. The process can further comprise a final separation process to further purify the product gas from the GPS column. For CO.sub.2 product, a preferred energy efficient final separation process, compound compression and refrigeration process, is also introduced.
Control method for gasification power generation system
The present invention relates to an operation control method for a gasification power generation system for gasifying carbon-based fuel such as coal in a gasifier using oxygen or oxygen-enriched air as an oxidizing agent, burning the obtained syngas as fuel in a gas turbine, driving the gas turbine by the syngas, driving a steam turbine by steam generated using exhaust heat of the gas turbine, thus executing combined power generation.
PROCESS FOR THE REMOVAL OF ACID GASES FROM GASEOUS MIXTURES USING AN AQUEOUS SOLUTION OF 2-DIMETHYLAMINO-2-HYDROXYMETHYL-1, 3-PROPANEDIOL
The present invention relates to an aqueous alkanolamine solution demonstrating low volatility comprising 2-di-methylamino-2-hydroxymethyl-1, 3-propanediol useful for removing acid gases from gaseous mixtures. Said aqueous alkanolamine solution may further comprise one or more of an acid or acid-forming compound, another amino compound, an activator, a physical solvent, or one or more other compounds used in gal-liquid treatment practices. Further, the present invention relates to a process for removing acid gases from a gaseous mixture, preferably hydrogen sulfide, comprising the step of contacting the gaseous mixture with said aqueous alkanolamine solution. Examples of the gaseous mixtures include natural gas, synthesis gas, tail gas, and refinery gas.
ACID GAS ABSORBENT IN BIOGAS AND BIOGAS PURIFICATION SYSTEM USING THE SAME
Disclosed is an absorbent containing an amine for absorption of an acid gas in a biogas, and a biogas purification system using the same.
Hydrogen sulfide adsorbent in biogas and biogas purification system using the same
Disclosed is an adsorbent containing a metal oxide for adsorption of hydrogen sulfide in biogas, and a biogas purification system using the same.
Hydrogen sulfide adsorbent in biogas and biogas purification system using the same
Disclosed is an adsorbent containing a metal oxide for adsorption of hydrogen sulfide in biogas, and a biogas purification system using the same.
PLANT MATTER SMOKE AND VAPOR COLLECTION DEVICE
Embodiments of the disclosure relate to a plant matter burning or vaporization apparatus comprising a plant matter receptacle for containing plant matter, and a burning/vaporization region for burning or vaporization of plant matter to produce a plant compound vapor, and a plant matter conduit operable to continuously convey plant matter to the burning/vaporization region. Embodiments of the disclosure also relate to a solvent combination apparatus comprising or operatively connected to a vapor conduit located at or at a distance from the burning/vaporization region, from which the plant compound vapor is removed from the environment of the plant matter and conveyed to a solvent in which the plant compound vapor is dissolved. The dissolution of the plant compound vapor in the solvent may be assisted by passing the solvent and smoke/vapor through a nozzle creating a region of high pressure.
PROCESS AND PLANT FOR PURIFYING CRUDE SYNTHESIS GAS
The invention relates to a process for removal of unwanted, in particular acidic gas constituents, for example carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide, from a crude synthesis gas by gas scrubbing with a scrubbing medium. According to the invention the flash gases obtained during the decompression of the laden scrubbing medium are supplied to a recompressor in order to recycle these to the crude synthesis gas and thus utilize them materially after the recompression. Alternatively or in addition the flash gases may also be supplied to a decompression turbine to recover refrigeration and mechanical work. If the recompressor and/or the decompression turbine are/is designed to have multiple stages, the flash gases obtained at different pressure levels are preferably supplied to a corresponding pressure level of the recompressor and/or of the decompression turbine.
