Ethylene-propylene linear copolymers as viscosity modifiers
In some embodiments, ethylene-propylene random copolymers as viscosity modifiers were synthesized with pyridyldiamido catalyst systems and a chain transfer agent. In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides for ethylene-propylene random copolymers having an ethylene content between about 45 wt % and about 55 wt %. In some embodiments, the ethylene-propylene random copolymer is used as a viscosity modifier in a lubricating composition and a fuel composition.

WAX ANTI-SETTLING ADDITIVE COMPOSITION FOR USE IN DIESEL FUELS
A composition comprising at least one fuel that is a diesel fuel, a biodiesel fuel, or combinations thereof and less than 100 ppm, less than 50 ppm (or less than 25 ppm, less than 10 ppm, 1 to 7 ppm, or 5 to 7 ppm) of an alkylene-coupled C.sub.10 to C.sub.60 (or C.sub.10 to C.sub.40, C.sub.14 to C.sub.32 or C.sub.24 to C.sub.28) alkylphenol; 25 to 500 ppm (or 50 to 500 ppm, or 150 to 450 ppm or 250 to 450 ppm, or 250 to 400 ppm) of a terpolymer; and 5 to 90 ppm, (or 10 to 70 ppm, to 60 ppm, or 10 to 55 ppm) of hydrocarbyl-substituted amine detergent having at least one tertiary amino group.

METHOD OF PRODUCING A DRAG REDUCER
A method for preparation of a reagent for reducing hydrodynamic drag of a turbulent flow of liquid hydrocarbons in pipelines, characterized by a high polymer content of at least 75 wt %, including mixing a 0.1-1.5 mm polymer reducing the hydrodynamic drag of a turbulent flow of liquid hydrocarbons with polymer non-solving solvents. The prepared product is a commodity form of the reagent with a high polymer content of at least 75 wt % used to reduce the hydrodynamic drag of the flow of liquid hydrocarbons in pipelines. The product prepared according to the described method is injected into the flow of hydrocarbon fluid transported through the pipeline using the injection apparatus that mechanically moves the product using a screw auger or screw feeder.

Mannich detergents for hydrocarbon fuels
New, highly effective substantially pure Mannich detergents for use in hydrocarbon fuels reduce engine deposits in spark and compression ignition internal combustion engines. The Mannich condensation reaction products are obtainable by reacting: (i) a polyamine having primary amino groups, (ii) a hydrocarbyl-substituted hydroxyaromatic compound, and (iii) an aldehyde, wherein the reaction is conducted at in a molar ratio of (i):(ii):(iii) of approximately 1:2:3. The Mannich detergent compounds may be dispersed in a liquid carrier to provide a fuel additive concentrate for hydrocarbon engine fuels which effectively control engine deposit formation in intake valves, port fuel injectors and combustion chambers.
