Fire starter tube
A flammable tube has a plurality of air passages formed along the length of the flammable tube. A support member is positioned in an interior of the flammable tube. The support member is spaced apart from the lower end of the flammable tube. Solid fuel is positioned on the support member. A flame is introduced to the solid fuel which is within the interior of the tube which ignites the solid fuel, such as charcoal. The charcoal burns away the flammable tube and the support member. The flammable tube may be placed within a grill of the type used to cook food or other container that is nonflammable, and which provides a receptacle for the burning solid fuel without the need of a specialized grilling apparatus.
FIRE STARTING STRIP
A fire starting strip 10 for igniting a bed of charcoal or for lighting a log fire, without the need for any one or more of: kindling, lighter fluid or newspaper, the fire starting strip 10 comprising an elongate body 12 which is covered or impregnated with fuel, the elongate body 12 having a length substantially in the range of 15 to 100 cm and being substantially at least five times longer than it is wide.

Fire starter
The present invention provides apparatus for starting a fire, comprising a stack of combustible fuel elements (340,350,460,462,464) and a flammable ignition element (450) located in a combustible container (200) configured to provide at least one aperture (202) for igniting the flammable ignition element located therein. A kit of parts and a method of assembling the kit are also provided.

FIRE STARTER
A fire starter includes a casing made from a first material a first material having a first time associated therewith that defines a length of time that the casing burns after being ignited. A second material disposed in the casing has a second time associated therewith that defines a length of time that the second material burns after being ignited. An igniter, disposed in the casing and adjacent to the second material, generates a first thermal event to ignite the second material wherein the second material combusts to define a second thermal event that ignites the first material. An actuator is coupled to the igniter and is positioned outside of the casing for activating the igniter to generate the first thermal event.

Cardboard structure for forming a chimney starter
A cardboard structure is foldable to form a consumable chimney. The cardboard structure comprises four side wall panels that are connected to each adjacent side wall panel by a longitudinal fold line. The cardboard structure further comprises four floor panels that are each connected to the one of the side wall panels by a lateral fold line. Two locking floor panels secure the floor panels in place to form a floor extending inward from the side wall panels and form a central opening in the floor. The cardboard structure may be formed into an assembled chimney by a few simple folding operations. The cardboard chimney then supports the burning of an accelerant, such as newsprint, which then ignites a solid fuel source, such as charcoal, that is received in the chimney.

Modular Firestarter Assembly
A modular firestarter assembly. The modular firestarter assembly includes a number of modular components configured to be able to mount to one another to form the firestarter assembly. The modular components can be broken down to save side. The modular firestarter assembly can be formed from a number of different combinations of the modular components to hold fuel sources and assist in starting a fire.
