ZEOLITE ADSORBENTS HAVING A HIGH EXTERNAL SURFACE AREA AND USES THEREOF
The present invention concerns the use, for gas separation, of at least one zeolite adsorbent material comprising at least one FAU zeolite, said adsorbent having an external surface area greater than 20 m.sup.2.Math.g.sup.−1, a non-zeolite phase (PNZ) content such that 0<PNZ≦30%, and an Si/Al atomic ratio of between 1 and 2.5. The invention also concerns a zeolite adsorbent material having an Si/Al ratio such that 1≦Si/Al<2.5, a mesoporous volume of between 0.08 cm.sup.3.Math.g.sup.−1 and 0.25 cm.sup.3.Math.g.sup.−1, a (Vmicro−Vmeso)/Vmicro ratio of between −0.5 and 1.0, non-inclusive, and a non-zeolite phase (PNZ) content such that 0<PNZ≦30%.

A fuel reformer for a vehicle engine may include a housing including an inlet at a first end and an outlet at a second end of the housing through which exhaust gas flows, a reforming catalyst disposed between the inlet and the outlet to reform exhaust gas, a mixing chamber providing a space for mixing fluid between the inlet and the reforming catalyst, a fuel injector injecting a same fuel to be supplied to the engine into the mixing chamber, and an air injector coupled to the housing to supply air into the mixing chamber.
Method and system for processing lignocellulose material
A method for processing lignocellulose materials comprising the steps of hydrothermal treatment of the material with saturated or superheated steam in a hydrothermal pressure vessel, wherein the steam is provided by means of a steam boiler. The treatment is performed at a pressure of 5-30 bars, and at a temperature of 160-240° C. for a duration of 1-20 minutes. The method further comprises discharging hydrothermally treated lignocellulose material and steam from the pressure vessel by means of rapid pressure reduction, separating the steam and vapours released from the lignocellulose material, and burning the vapours together with additional fuel and combustion air in the furnace of said steam boiler. Furthermore, a corresponding system is provided.
Method for using cold rolling magnetic filtration waste
Disclosed is a method for using cold rolling magnetic filtration waste, comprising using the cold rolling magnetic filtration waste as a fluxing agent for a high-ash-fusion coal so as to achieve the technical requirements of a high melting point coal in dry coal powder gasification and liquid slagging. The cold rolling magnetic filtration waste contains solid particulates with very fine particles (iron-containing particles mainly produced by friction), and the surface thereof has a cold rolling oil attached thereto, and same reacts with other aluminosilicates in coal ash at a high temperature to produce low temperature eutectic compounds such as fayalite (Fe.sub.2SiO.sub.4) and hercynite (Fe.sub.2Al.sub.2O.sub.4). The fluxing agent has characteristics such as having fine particles, being free of inorganic mineral substances, having an effective ingredient in a high content, operation thereof being simple, and being free of pollution.

Field processing natural gas for sulfur recovery with dynamically adjustable flow rate control
A dynamically adjustable rate sulfur recovery process continuously calculates and adjusts sour gas stream operating pressure and/or flow rate to maximize sweet gas output, thereby improving efficiency. A corresponding desulfurization system may include a fixed-sized pressure vessel, a flow control valve that controls the rate of flow of a sour gas stream into the pressure vessel, a sensor that measures sulfur concentration in the sour gas stream, a reagent tank, an oxidizer tank, and a phase separator that separates sweet gas as a gaseous phase after hydrogen sulfide in the sour gas stream in the pressure vessel is converted to elemental sulfur, sulfur species, or both by contact with reagent from the reagent tank and oxidizer from the oxidizer tank. A PLC (programmable logic controller) continuously calculates updated flow rates based on sulfur concentration measurements from the sensor to achieve maximum sweet gas production.
METHOD FOR USING COLD ROLLING MAGNETIC FILTRATION WASTE
Disclosed is a method for using cold rolling magnetic filtration waste, comprising using the cold rolling magnetic filtration waste as a fluxing agent for a high-ash-fusion coal so as to achieve the technical requirements of a high melting point coal in dry coal powder gasification and liquid slagging.
