Aqueous composition
According to an aspect of the present invention, an aqueous composition contains at least one selected from a group consisting of a carboxylic acid compound represented by the following formula (1), a carboxylic anhydride represented by the following formula (2), and a trimellitic anhydride; a basic compound; and water. In the formula (1), “R” represents an alkanediyl group having 2 to 4 carbons, a vinylene group, or a benzene ring, and “a” represents 2 or 3. In the formula (2), “R” represents an alkanediyl group having 2 to 4 carbons, a vinylene group, or a benzene ring.

LUBRICANT RELASE AGENT COMPOSITION
Described is the use of a composition in a process for extruding metals. Said composition includes at least one sodium and/or potassium phthalate and optionally at least one phthalate of an alkaline-earth metal.
Bio-based lubricants
The invention provides biobased lubricants comprising the reaction product of a natural oil, fatty acid or derivative having unsaturation sites with a suitable substrate such as maleic anhydride that is capable of undergoing an “ene” or Diels Alder reaction with the natural oil to form an adduct; followed by a controlled non-aqueous neutralization with a suitable inorganic base such as lithium hydroxide.
Triamine solidification using diacids
Stable, solid triamine compositions are disclosed. The pressed, cast, extruded or other solid compositions are suitable for antimicrobial, sanitizing and disinfectant applications. Ready-to-use solutions are obtained by dissolving the solid triamine compositions with water and the methods of use thereof are particularly suitable for cleaning, disinfecting, sanitizing, rinsing and/or lubricating. Beneficially, the solid triamine compositions are at least partially neutralized, allowing activity of 90% and greater of the biocidal triamine, and provide at least substantially similar or superior performance and micro efficacy to liquid formulations.
