ENGINE OIL LUBRICANT COMPOSTIONS AND METHODS FOR MAKING SAME WITH SUPERIOR OIL CONSUMPTION
Provided is an engine oil lubricant composition with improved fuel economy. The engine oil lubricant composition may include about 40 wt % to about 80 wt % of a first oil base stock consisting of a Group IV base oil and about 10 wt % to about 40 wt % of a second oil base stock that is not a Group IV base oil, where these weight percents are based on the total weight of the engine oil lubricant composition. The engine oil lubricant composition can have an HTHS (ASTM D4683) of less than or equal to 2.2 cP at 150° C., a Noack volatility (ASTM D5800) of 25% or less, and an evaporation rate of 6% or less as measured by distillation method DIN 51454 mod. C17-C19.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY BICYCLE CHAIN AND GEAR MAINTENANCE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
An environmentally friendly bicycle chain and gear maintenance system includes an ecologically friendly package of highly recyclable material such as one of a metal or glass container with an integral brush applicator; or a paper container with a wax or other oil-resistant, non-permeable interior. The environmentally friendly bicycle chain and gear maintenance system includes a lubricant contained within the package, the lubricant being substantially free of petroleum oil distillates and comprising one of either a lanolin based lubricant which comprises a mixture of lanolin within a carrier, wherein the carrier is a non-drying or semi-non-drying, plant-based oil or a water soluble lubricant comprising a mixture of 25% to 75% of a surfactant which is a soap and 25% to 75% of glycerin.
HIGH TEMPERATURE LUBRICANT
The invention relates to a food-compatible high-temperature lubricant, more particularly a high-temperature oil and a high-temperature grease, comprising the following components: a) at least one oil selected from a trimellitic ester or a mixture of different trimellitic esters, alkylaromatics, preferably an aliphatically substituted naphthalene, or estolides; b) a hydrogenated or fully hydrogenated polyisobutylene or a mixture of hydrogenated or fully hydrogenated polyisobutylene; and c) additives individually or in combination.
In the case of the high-temperature grease, a thickener is added.

Metal-working Fluid Compositions and Methods for Making
The disclosure relates to a biobased metal-working fluid (MWF) composition and method for making same, and more particularly metal-working fluid with biobased lubricants with improved emulsion stability. At least 50 wt. % of the base oil component in the MWF concentrate is a plant-derived liquid decarboxylated rosin acid oil (“DCR”). The DCR comprises 50 to 100 wt. % of tricyclic compounds having 18-20 carbon atoms, one or more C═C groups, and m/z (mass/charge) value of 220-280; an oxygen content of <5%; a density of 0.9 to 1.0 g/cm.sup.3 at 20° C.; and an acid value of <10 mg KOH/g. The resulting MWF is characterized as having comparable if not better performance compared to a MWF containing only mineral oil (e.g., Group I or Group II).
