The present invention provides a class of halogen-containing synthetic base oils, and preparation method and use thereof. The synthetic base oils have introduced with halogen, especially fluorine, wherein the dipole motion of the halogen groups results in dipole interaction between the dipoles of other components and the base oil molecules of dipole-dipole and dipole-induced halogen (especially fluorine), and the interaction force is stronger and more localized than the dispersion force between the molecules of pure hydrocarbon synthetic oils, and thus the performance of the base oils is directly affected. It solved the problem of oil solubility of pure hydrocarbon synthetic oils, and also improved the properties of oxidation resistance and thermal stability.

The base oil (A) is a blended base oil containing a high viscosity hydrocarbon-based synthetic oil having a specific kinematic viscosity (A1). A low viscosity hydrocarbon-based synthetic oil having a specific kinematic viscosity (A2). An ultra-high viscosity hydrocarbon-based synthetic oil has a number average molecular weight (Mn) of 2,500 to 4,500 and a specific kinematic viscosity (A3). A 40° C. kinematic viscosity of the base oil (A) is 500 mm.sup.2/s to 1,500 mm.sup.2/s. A viscosity index of the base oil (A) is 140 or more. A content of the fatty acid zinc salt (D) is 10 mass % to 20 mass % based on a total amount of the grease composition.

The method comprises adding a sarcosinic acid derivative, an aspartic acid derivative or a diethanolamine derivative, or a mixture thereof to the lubricant composition.

A lubricant composition for plastic working of a ferrous material is used, the lubricant composition containing (a) an alkali metal salt of an organic acid, (b) water-based resin particles, (c) a water-soluble polymer, and (d) water, the (b) water-based resin particles including particles having a particle diameter of not more than 0.1 μm in an amount of more than 5% by weight relative to a total amount of the (b) water-based resin particles.

Poly alpha olefin compositions

This invention is directed to a poly alpha olefin (PAO) composition formed in a first oligomerization, wherein at least portions of the PAO have properties that make them highly desirable for a subsequent oligomerization. A preferred process for producing this PAO uses a single site catalyst at high temperatures without adding hydrogen to produce a low viscosity PAO with excellent Noack volatility at high conversion rates. This PAO comprises a dimer product with at least 25 wt % tri-substituted vinylene olefins wherein said dimer product is highly desirable as a feedstock for a subsequent oligomerization. This PAO also comprises trimer and optionally higher oligomer products with outstanding properties that make these products useful as lubricant basestocks following hydrogenation.

HIGH TEMPERATURE LUBRICANT

The invention relates to a food-compatible high-temperature lubricant, more particularly a high-temperature oil and a high-temperature grease, comprising the following components: a) at least one oil selected from a trimellitic ester or a mixture of different trimellitic esters, alkylaromatics, preferably an aliphatically substituted naphthalene, or estolides; b) a hydrogenated or fully hydrogenated polyisobutylene or a mixture of hydrogenated or fully hydrogenated polyisobutylene; and c) additives individually or in combination.

In the case of the high-temperature grease, a thickener is added.

HIGH TEMPERATURE LUBRICANT

The invention relates to a food-compatible high-temperature lubricant, more particularly a high-temperature oil and a high-temperature grease, comprising the following components: a) at least one oil selected from a trimellitic ester or a mixture of different trimellitic esters, alkylaromatics, preferably an aliphatically substituted naphthalene, or estolides; b) a hydrogenated or fully hydrogenated polyisobutylene or a mixture of hydrogenated or fully hydrogenated polyisobutylene; and c) additives individually or in combination.
