A method is provided that forms a solid film on a bearing component of a rolling bearing. A solution containing a fluorine compound and a lubricant having no functional group is allowed to adhere to the bearing component as a first liquid film (adhesion step). The adhering first liquid film is hardened to form the solid film on the bearing component. The rolling bearing including the bearing component with the solid film formed thereon is rotated. The rolling bearing is washed in a washer fluid containing the same lubricant as that used in the adhesion step, and the washer fluid is allowed to adhere to the bearing component as a second liquid film. Then, the adhering second liquid film is dried.

In one embodiment of the method, an organic-based ingredient and a lubricant and binding agent are combined and subjected to a pellet-mill production process. The lubricant and binding agent includes about 15% to about 40% by weight of glycerin, about 0.005% to about 0.017% by weight of guar gum, about 0.009% to about 0.028% by weight of gum arabic, about 0.005% to about 0.017% by weight of aloe vera, and a balance by weight of water. The lubricant and binding agent increases production efficiency and pellet durability.

Provided is a lubricating composition for inhibiting plugging including a base oil and any one selected from a fatty acid and an emulsifier, with the lubricating composition forming a single phase even when a carboxylic acid-based monomer is introduced with respect to the base oil. The lubricating composition suppresses plugging occurring in a process of preparing a copolymer derived from the carboxylic acid-based monomer. In addition, also provided is a method of inhibiting plugging using the lubricating composition for inhibiting plugging.

The present disclosure is drawn to a cutting fluid for use in computer numerical control milling. The cutting fluid can include from about 10 wt % to about 90 wt % of a C2 to C6 alcohol; from about 0.1 wt % to about 20 wt % of a chelating agent; from about 0.5 wt % to about 15 wt % of a metal ion selected from aluminum ion, chromium ion, nickel ion, tin ion, zinc ion, or a combination thereof; and from about 8.5 wt % to about 88.5 wt % water. The cutting fluid can have a surface tension that can range from about 22 dynes/cm to about 55 dynes/cm.
