Raw material powder for powder metallurgy
Provided is a raw material powder for powder metallurgy, capable of preventing stains, surface defects and decarburization of a sintered body, improving strength and density thereof. The raw material powder for powder metallurgy is for use in the production of a sintered body that is sintered at a temperature of not lower than 500° C., composed of a mixture of a metal powder and a lubricant, in which the lubricant is melamine cyanurate or terephthalic acid. Alternatively, the raw material powder for powder metallurgy is for use in the production of a sintered body that is sintered at a temperature of not lower than 500° C, composed of a mixture of a metal powder, a first lubricant and a second lubricant, in which the first lubricant is melamine cyanurate or terephthalic acid, while the second lubricant is preferably erucic acid amide or stearic acid amide.
CO-FLUID REFRIGERATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A climate-control system can be used to heat or cool a space. The climate-control system may include first and second vessels between which refrigerant and co-fluid may be circulated. The refrigerant may be absorbed into the co-fluid within the first vessel at a first rate. The refrigerant may desorb from the co-fluid within the second vessel at a second rate. Ultrasonic energy may be used to adjust the second rate to substantially match the first rate.

It includes: first discrete particles comprising Montan acid ester wax and at least one fatty amide wax including at least one of: a fatty primary monoamide wax and a fatty bisamide wax. In another embodiment, the particulate composite lubricant for powder metallurgy includes first discrete particles comprising Montan acid ester wax and second discrete particles comprising an organic, metal-free pulverulent lubricant selected from the group consisting of fatty bisamide waxes, fatty monoamide waxes, glycerides, Montan acid ester waxes, paraffin wax, polyolefines, polyamides, polyesters, and mixtures thereof, wherein the particulate composite lubricant comprises at least one fatty amide wax including at least one of a fatty monoamide wax and a fatty bisamide wax.
Cold cranking simulator viscosity boosting base stocks and lubricating oil formulations containing the same
This disclosure relates to cold cranking simulator viscosity (CCSV) boosting base stocks that allow flexibility for engine oil formulations to meet both high and low temperature viscosity requirements while maximizing fuel efficiency. The CCSV-boosting base stocks can include C28-C60 hydrocarbon materials, linear esters, tertiary amides, dialkyl carbonates, aromatic alcohols, and aromatic ethers. This disclosure also relates to lubricating oil formulations containing the CCSV-boosting base stocks, and a method for improving fuel efficiency in an engine by using as engine oil a lubricating oil formulation containing one or more of the CCSV-boosting base stocks.

LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITIONS WITH OXIDATIVE STABILITY IN DIESEL ENGINES USING BIODIESEL FUEL
A method for improving oxidative stability of a lubricating oil in a diesel engine, in which biodiesel fuel is used with diesel fuel in the diesel engine, by using as the lubricating oil a formulated oil. The formulated oil has a composition including at least one Group V lubricating oil base stock. The at least one Group V lubricating oil base stock is present in an amount from 1 to 75 weight percent, based on the total weight of the lubricating oil. Oxidative stability is improved in a diesel engine lubricated with the lubricating oil, as compared to oxidative stability achieved in a diesel engine lubricated with a lubricating oil not having the at least one Group V lubricating oil base stock, as determined by a CEC L-109-16 Bio-Diesel Oxidation Bench test. The lubricating oils are useful as passenger vehicle engine oil (PVEO) products or commercial vehicle engine oil (CVEO) products.
