GREASE COMPOSITION
Provided is a lubricating grease used for lubricating mechanical elements having a reciprocating sliding ball interposed therebetween and maintaining flaking resistance even under a high load in mechanical elements having a reciprocating sliding ball interposed therebetween. The present invention therefore provides a grease composition comprising a base oil (a), a diurea compound (b), an amide compound (c), and a thiophosphorous compound or a thiophosphoric acid ester compound (d), wherein the diurea compound (b) includes a compound represented by Formula (1) R.sub.1—NHCONH—R.sub.2—NHCONH—R.sub.3 (1) wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.3 represent an acyclic aliphatic hydrocarbon group having from 8 to 20 carbon atoms, and R.sub.2 represents a diphenylmethane group.

The invention has an object of providing grease reduced in an amount of the flying grease and an amount of the outgas, and superior in low-temperature characteristic, an antifriction bearing using the grease, an antifriction bearing device, and an information recording/reproducing device. A grease includes a base oil, and a thickener, the base oil includes mineral oil and poly-α-olefin, the poly-α-olefin is higher in mass than the mineral oil, the poly-α-olefin includes poly-α-olefin higher in kinetic viscosity than the mineral oil, the kinetic viscosity of the base oil at 40° C. is in a range of 40 through 90 mm.sup.2/s, and worked penetration is in a range of 200 through 250. Further, an antifriction bearing, an antifriction bearing device, and an information recording/reproducing device use the grease.
ANTI-FRICTION LACQUER AND SLIDING ELEMENT HAVING SUCH AN ANTI-FRICTION LACQUER
An anti-friction lacquer has a resin matrix of a polymer and functional fillers containing mixed-phase oxides having a specified grinding hardness and proportion and optionally contain further functional fillers. A sliding element is also disclosed having a metallic substrate layer and a coating applied to the substrate that is made of at least in part of the anti-friction.
Grease composition for ball joint
Provided is a grease composition for a ball joint that can reduce the wear of a ball seat at a slide region and also has excellent compatibility with a dust cover. The grease composition for a ball joint comprises a base oil, a thickener, and an additive. The base oil contains an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer and the kinetic viscosity of the base oil at 40° C. is 2,000 to 6,000 mm.sup.2/s. The additive contains a polar wax (e.g., monoamide wax or ester wax).
GREASE AND REFRIGERATION CYCLE APPARATUS USING GREASE AS LUBRICANT
Provided is grease capable of suppressing a decrease in a function as a lubricant even when used in a device installed in a refrigerant circuit in which a refrigerant containing a chlorine atom and an olefin bond in a molecule flows, and a refrigeration cycle apparatus using the grease as a lubricant. Grease that is used in a device installed in a refrigerant circuit in which a refrigerant containing a chlorine atom and an olefin bond in a molecule flows contains fluorine as a component. In a chiller apparatus, the grease is used as a lubricant for at least one of a first radial touchdown bearing and a second radial touchdown bearing of a compressor, a drive portion of an inlet guide vane of the compressor, and a drive portion of an expansion valve.
GREASE COMPOSITION AND ROLLING BEARING
There is provided a grease composition for improving the chemical stability of the grease composition and increasing the fatigue life of a member in which the grease composition is used. The problems can be solved by a grease composition including a poly-α-olefin; a urea-based thickener; molybdenum dithiophosphate; and barium sulfonate, wherein a difference between an SP value of the urea-based thickener and an SP value of the poly-α-olefin is 3.5 or less.
Lubricating oil composition and impregnated bearing
Provided are a lubricating oil composition which contains a base oil (A) containing an ester-based oil (Al), and a polymer (B) having a constituent unit (b) derived from an alkyl (meth)acrylate, wherein the content of the polymer (B) is 0.1 to 10% by mass based on the total amount of the lubricating oil composition, the lubricating oil composition has a viscosity index of 350 or more, the lubricating oil composition has a BF viscosity at −40° C. of 4000mPa.Math.s or less, and the lubricating oil composition is used for an impregnated bearing, and an impregnated bearing impregnated with the lubricating oil composition. The lubricating oil composition has excellent lubricity in use in a wide temperature environment from a low temperature region to a high temperature region, is capable of maintaining excellent infiltration property even in an environment in which a temperature change between a low temperature and a high temperature is severe, and is suitable for use in an impregnated bearing.
Lubricating grease of polyurea/high base number calcium sulfonate composite
The invention discloses a lubricating grease with thixotropy and a preparation method thereof. The lubricating grease comprises a polyurea/high base number calcium sulfonate composite thickener, colloidally dispersed calcium carbonate solid particles in the form of calcite, a calcium borate or calcium borate composite, and a calcium soap of fatty acid having 12 to 24 carbon atoms. The above components are uniformly dispersed in an oil phase medium. The content of high base number calcium sulfonate in the lubricating grease is less than 22 wt %.
Grease composition, mechanism component, and production method for grease composition
The present invention addresses a problem of providing a grease composition that uses hydrophilic nanofibers but still has excellent water resistance and does not readily experience oil separation. The grease composition contains a base oil, hydrophilic nanofibers having a thickness (d) of 1 to 500 nm, and an organic bentonite.
