PERFUME COMPOSITIONS
20170260476 · 2017-09-14 ·

A perfume composition having controlled release of phytoncides in an atmosphere in order to generate an air condition resembling the air environment of a forest is provided. The perfume composition includes a) at least about 0.6% by weight of at least one phytoncide; and b) a perfume mixture including (i) at least one solvent; and (ii) at least one fragrance ingredient. At least about 25% by weight of the at least one phytoncide is selected from the group consisting of pinene alpha, pinene beta and combinations thereof.

VOLATILE COMPOSITION

Provided is a volatile composition having a small difference in volatilization amounts of a volatile substance within a wide temperature range from the normal temperature and enabling the control of the volatilization amount even at a high temperature by suppressing the volatilization amount of the volatile substance and by increasing the gel strength of the volatile composition. Specifically provided is a volatile composition having an alkyl cellulose having such a viscosity that a viscosity at 20° C. of a 1% by weight aqueous solution of the alkyl cellulose is 4,000 to 11,000 mPa.Math.s as determined by a Brookfield viscometer and having such a storage elastic modulus that a storage elastic modulus G′(65° C.) at 65° C. of a 1.5% by weight aqueous solution of the alkyl cellulose is 3,000 to 4,500 Pa; a volatile substance; and a solvent.

Thioether derivatives as precursors for a controlled release of active molecules

The present invention relates to the field of perfumery. More particularly, it concerns short chain β-sulfur carbonyl moieties capable of liberating an active molecule, such as a perfuming α,β-unsaturated ketone or aldehyde. The present invention concerns also the use of said compounds in perfumery as well as the perfuming compositions or perfumed articles comprising the invention's compounds.

Use of a composition containing 1,8-para-menthenethiol and 3-mercaptohexyl acetate as an odor-masking agent

The present invention relates to the use of a composition containing 1,8-para-menthenethiol and 3-mercaptohexyl acetate, such as a plant extract and in particular an extract of timur (Zanthoxylum armatum), as odor-masking agent. It also relates to a deodorizing product in the form of an aerosol, candle, or electrical or wick fragrance diffuser, containing this composition.

SOLVENT EXTRACTION OF OIL FROM DISTILLERS DRIED GRAINS AND METHODS OF USING EXTRACTION PRODUCTS
20230240330 · 2023-08-03 ·

A process for extraction of crude oil from distillers dried grain solubles and/or distillers dried grains using a solvent extraction process and producing corn distillers meal that may be used as an animal feed supplement is disclosed. The corn distillers meal may be used as a crude protein supplement for use in a livestock feed diet, poultry feed diet, aquatic feed diet or the like. The solvent extracted crude oil may be suitable for other processes, including oleochemical processing for personal care and home care products, biodiesel production, and/or renewable diesel production from hydro-treating the extracted oil to make green diesel fuel.
