HEAVY DUTY LAUNDRY DETERGENT
A laundry detergent formulation is provided that is formed as an aqueous blend of surfactants, enzymes, builders, and soil release polymers to inhibit soil re-deposition back onto other clothing or elements of the washing machine. The detergent formulation also contains additives with properties that impart a treatment to fabrics that inhibits future soil deposition onto the clothing with continued use. The detergent formulation provides cleaning of heavy duty grease and automotive soils from clothing surfaces that is superior to current detergent products.
ACIDIC VISCOELASTIC SURFACTANT BASED CLEANING COMPOSITIONS
Acidic viscoelastic cleaning compositions are disclosed which use non polymer thickening agents. According to the invention, cleaning compositions have been developed using viscoelastic surfactants in acidic cleaning formulations. These provide the dual benefit of thickening as well as an additional cleaning, thereby improving performance. Applicants have also identified several pseudo linking agents which when, used with viscoelastic surfactants provide enhanced viscoelasticity and cleaning.
ACIDIC VISCOELASTIC SURFACTANT BASED CLEANING COMPOSITIONS
Acidic viscoelastic cleaning compositions are disclosed which use non polymer thickening agents. According to the invention, cleaning compositions have been developed using viscoelastic surfactants in acidic cleaning formulations. These provide the dual benefit of thickening as well as an additional cleaning, thereby improving performance. Applicants have also identified several pseudo linking agents which when, used with viscoelastic surfactants provide enhanced viscoelasticity and cleaning.
Glycerin ethoxylate as an active ingredient in removing make-up stain
A composition for removing a cosmetic material from a substrate includes glycerin ethoxylate and linear alkyl benzene sulfonate (LABS). An application of the composition to a stain including a deposit of a cosmetic material at a white polyester-cotton blend fabric to provide a stained polyester-cotton blend fabric exhibits an increased stain removal measured as reflectance observed at 460 nm by at least about 35% compared to a reflectance observed at the stained polyester-cotton blend fabric prior to the application. A treatment including the composition applied to the stained polyester-cotton blend fabric provides a reflectance at the stained polyester-cotton blend fabric that is greater than a reflectance observed at a white polyester-cotton blend fabric stained with a deposit of a cosmetic material and that has been treated with either the glycerin ethoxylate alone or that has been treated with the linear alkyl benzene sulfonate alone.
AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS CONTAINING AMINO CARBOXYLIC ACID CHELATORS
A cleaning composition having an aqueous solutions containing amino carboxylic acid chelators comprising (a) trans-1,2-diaminocyclohexane-N,N,N′,N′-tetraacetic acid monohydrate or salt thereof or (b) iminodiacetic acid or salt thereof may be used as an alternative for phosphates, NTA, and/or EDTA. The cleaning composition is used in industrial, commercial, or residential settings.
AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS CONTAINING AMINO CARBOXYLIC ACID CHELATORS
A cleaning composition having an aqueous solutions containing amino carboxylic acid chelators comprising (a) trans-1,2-diaminocyclohexane-N,N,N′,N′-tetraacetic acid monohydrate or salt thereof or (b) iminodiacetic acid or salt thereof may be used as an alternative for phosphates, NTA, and/or EDTA. The cleaning composition is used in industrial, commercial, or residential settings.

The present invention relates to a chemical product and process for cleaning nanofiltration and reverse osmosis membranes, based on enzymatic action aiming to remove biofouling and inorganic scale quickly. The product mentioned in present invention also proposes elimination of the neutralization step of the chemical product used, given that the enzymatic action allows an adequate pH for disposal to be maintained, which fact increases the speed and efficiency of the process.

N,N,N′,N′-tetradodecyl-substituted diphenyl ether sulfonate anionic Gemini surfactant and synthesis method thereof
The present invention discloses a N,N,N′,N′-tetradodecyl-substituted diphenyl ether sulfonate anionic Gemini surfactant and the synthesis method thereof. It has a structural formula of: ##STR00001## and is prepared in a two-step reaction comprising: S1. subjecting 4,4′-diaminodiphenyl ether and bromododecane to an amine alkylation reaction to obtain N,N,N′,N′-tetradodecyl-substituted diphenyl ether; and S2. sulfonating the N,N,N′,N′-tetradodecyl-substituted diphenyl ether with concentrated sulfuric acid to produce the target product, N,N,N′,N′-tetradodecyl-substituted diphenyl ether sulfonate. The surfactant of the present invention has a high surface activity and can be synthesized with a simple procedure under mild reaction conditions, and can be easily separated and purified. The surfactant of the present invention is promising in applications for alkaline/surfactant in tertiary oil recovery, for polymer/surfactant binary compound flooding, alkaline/surfactant/polymer tertiary compound flooding, microemulsion emulsifier, and the like, and may also be compounded with common surfactants to lower the cost, thereby enabling its application in a large scale.
