LIQUID HAND DISHWASHING DETERGENT COMPOSITION

A liquid hand dishwashing detergent composition containing cationic poly alpha-1,6-glucan ether compound, methods of making the liquid hand dishwashing detergent compositions, and methods of using said liquid hand dishwashing detergent compositions, which provide improved rinsing, solution feel, and finished product viscosity control.

Concentrated Liquid Detergent

Unit dose detergent packs and detergent compositions are provided. A unit dose detergent pack includes a pouch made of a water-soluble film and a detergent composition encapsulated within the pouch. The detergent composition includes a surfactant component including (1) an alcohol ethoxy sulfate having a C.sub.8-C.sub.20 backbone ethoxylated with from about 1 to about 10 moles of ethylene oxide, (2) at least one non-ionic surfactant having an alkoxylated alcohol, and (3) at least one anionic surfactant having a linear alkylbenzene sulfonate wherein (1), (2), and (3) are present in a weight ratio of actives of about (0 to 0.5):(0.05 to 0.9):(0 to 0.75). The detergent composition also includes water and a rheology control agent. The rheology control agent is selected from ethylene glycol monohexyl ether, ethylene glycol monopropyl ether, an ethoxylated ester, polyethylene glycol 400, an alkoxylated amine, and combinations of two or more thereof.

Dry mixtures and liquid formulations are provided that comprise metal oxide and/or metal hydroxide nanocrystalline particles. The dry mixtures are advantageously formulated with select surfactants to be readily solubilized and stable in liquid carriers. Additional select components are provided in preferred combinations that are capable of achieving improved biocidal and chemical agent efficacy. Notably, the inventive formulations provided herein allow for easier delivery of the formulations and increased shelf stability.

The double layer detergent tablet includes a color absorbing fiber and a solid detergent adhered to the color absorbing fiber, the solid detergent includes the following components by mass percentage: 8-30% of polyvinyl alcohol, 10-40% of surfactant, 0.5-5% of polyvinylpyrrolidone, 1-5% of glycerin, 0.5-5% of water softener, 0.1-1% of plant essence, 14-79.9% of deionized water. The surfactant is a mixture of an anionic surfactant and a non-ionic surfactant; the anionic surfactant is a mixture of sodium coco-sulfate and sodium alpha-olefin sulfonate; and the non-ionic surfactant is a mixture of alkyl glycoside, fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether, isomeric alcohol polyoxyethylene ether and fatty acid methyl ester ethoxy compound.
