11692155 · 2023-07-04 · ·

A cleaning composition is provided herein. The cleaning composition includes a plurality of metal particles and a base fluid. The plurality of metal particles have an average size in a range of from about 1 nanometer (nm) to about 10,000 micrometers (μm), and are dispersed in the base fluid. The cleaning composition is configured to generate an exothermic reaction when contacted with one or more components on a surface and water to facilitate removal of the one or more components from the surface. Methods of making and utilizing the cleaning composition are also provided.

SUSPENSION CLEANING

A method of cleaning a contaminated surface, such as cleaning the elongate interior lumen of an endoscope contaminated with flesh, bone, blood, mucous, faeces or biofilm, said method comprising the steps of: providing a suspension of solid particles in a liquid to said contaminated surface, and flowing said suspension along said surface thereby to remove contaminant from the surface. The suspension is preferably a paste, where the solid material may be e.g. crystals of a salt, silicon oxide or organic material. The paste preferably has a solid fraction between 5 and 55%. A rheology modifier may be present.

Liquid cleaning composition with abrasives

A liquid cleaning and/or cleansing composition comprising abrasive cleaning particles; one or more surfactants selected from the group consisting of anionic, nonionic, cationic, amphoteric and mixtures thereof; and a first acidic component wherein said acidic component consists of one or more chelating acids; wherein at least one nonionic surfactant is comprised in said composition and the total level of nonionic surfactant is less than 2% by weight of the total composition and/or at least one anionic surfactant is comprised in said composition and the total level of anionic surfactant is less than 2% by weight of the total composition.

TWO-STAGE OFFGAS SCRUBBING

The invention provides a process for removing organic constituents from a gas stream in a two-stage scrubbing operation, in which scrubbing is performed firstly with an alcoholic scrubbing medium and then with an aqueous scrubbing medium. The laden scrubbing media obtained can be used in certain (chemical) processes.

NON-AQUEOUS GEL DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS

A method for manufacturing an automatic dishwashing composition in the form of a non-aqueous gel, the method comprising: (i) combining one or more non-ionic surfactants, a polar non-aqueous solvent and a rheology modifier to form a non-aqueous gel, the non-aqueous gel having a pH of less than 7 when measured as a dilution of 1 part in 100 parts of water by weight, wherein the rheology modifier is an alkali-swellable emulsion polymer or a hydrophobically-modified alkali-swellable emulsion polymer; and (ii) adding to the non-aqueous gel one or more active agents selected from the group consisting of builders, surfactants, polymers, enzymes, bleaching agents, bleach activators, bleach catalysts and corrosion inhibitors to form the automatic dishwashing composition.
