Personal Care Compositions Incorporating Natural Benefit Agents and Methods for the Same
Solid cleansing compositions and methods for the same are disclosed herein. The solid cleansing composition may include a soap and a plant oil. The plant oil may include flaxseed oil, and may be present in an amount effective to maintain or increase hydration of skin, inhibit inflammation of skin, deodorize skin, inhibit irritation of skin, or combinations thereof.
Natural laundry soaps
A series of natural soaps, both liquid and solid, and methods of making thereof, which have a synergistic effect when formulated with anti-redeposition ingredients in laundry applications both in synthetic and natural textiles and fabrics. The fatty acids and/or natural oils based series of natural soaps include both sodium and potassium soap products that interact synergistically with, preferably, known, natural anti-redeposition agents and alkaline builders creating highly effective, natural solid (bar or powdered) and liquid laundry cleaning products. Solid forms soaps are dried to an acceptable amount of moisture content for milling. Further blending is then performed with various natural anti-redeposition agents or natural products which exhibit said characteristics and/or alkaline builders. The solid forms may be formed into single dose tablets. Effervescent additives may further be included.
Structured unit dose cleansing product
The disclosed technology relates to a formulation for a unit does cleansing product without the use of a film package, which contains a basic cleansing composition and a structurant comprising C6-C30 fatty acid or mixtures thereof and at least one water soluble polymer or water dispersible polymer.
DETERGENT COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to detergent compositions comprising a polypeptide having alpha-amylases. Furthermore, the present invention relates to methods of using the detergent compositions.
Effervescent Compositions and Solutions Prepared from the Same
Effervescent compositions for preparing home care products and methods for preparing the same are disclosed. The effervescent compositions may include an effervescent base, one or more surfactants, one or more solidifying agents, and one or more disintegrant agents. The effervescent base may include one or more alkali metal carbonates and one or more acids. The one or more alkali metal carbonates and the one or more acids may be present in a weight ratio of from about 1:1 to about 5:1. The effervescent composition may be substantially free of water. The effervescent composition may have a dissolution time of from about 6 min to about 12 min. The method for preparing the effervescent composition may include contacting the effervescent base, the surfactants, the solidifying agents, and the disintegrant agents with one another to prepare a mixture, which may be a homogenous mixture.
Solid surfactant composition
A surfactant product is in the form of a solid. The surfactant product includes (i) sodium carbonate; (ii) cream of tartar; (iii) glycerine; (iv) sodium lauryl sulphate in an amount of from 3 to 15 wt % based on the weight of the total composition, and (v) sodium laureth sulphate in an amount of from 10 to 25 wt % based on the weight of the total composition.
Pyrithione preservative system and C1-C12 ethoxylated alcohol in solid rinse aid compositions
Solid rinse aid compositions and methods of making and using the same are disclosed. Solid rinse aid compositions include in a single concentrate composition a pyrithione preservative system to replace conventional preservatives in the isothiazolinone family, such as chloromethylisothiazolinone. Beneficially, the pyrithione preservative systems eliminate the need for any personal protective equipment to handle the solid rinse aid compositions. Methods of making and use using the rinse aids are also disclosed.
SOLID FAST DRAINING/DRYING RINSE AID FOR HIGH TOTAL DISSOLVED SOLID WATER CONDITIONS
The present invention is a solid rinse aid composition and methods of making and using the same. Applicants have surprisingly found that the crystal modifier sodium xylene sulfonate (short chain alkyl benzene or alkyl naphthalene sulfonates) at higher percentage can act as a solidification agent. The solid rinse aid composition generally includes a short chain alkyl benzene or alkyl naphthalene sulfonates solidification agent and an effective amount of a surfactant which can include a sheeting agent component, defoamer component and/or association disruption agent. The solid rinse aid composition may be phosphate-free, aminocarboxylate-free, and GRAS if desired.
Compositions containing lauryl methacrylate for malodor reduction and uses thereof
Disclosed in certain embodiments are compositions for malodor reduction in fabric and methods for reducing malodor in fabric.
System, apparatus, and method for cleaning
A method is disclosed. The method includes providing a cleaning member formed from a consumable cleaning material and including a cavity formed by one or more interior walls of the cleaning member, inserting a cleaning member remnant through an aperture of the cavity formed at a first end surface of a first end portion of the cleaning member, providing and holding a fluid in the cavity holding the cleaning member remnant when the first end surface is facing upward, and attaching the cleaning member remnant to the one or more interior walls based on holding the fluid.
