An improved cleaning composition in block form is described. The composition addresses the consumer issues of having a clear product that remains clear through the life of the product and also has favorable handling properties such as a high melting point and increased hardness. The improvements are the result of three essential ingredients of particular block copolymer nonionic surfactants, alkanecarboxylic salts, and particular solvents at restricted proportions in the overall composition that are molded into a cleaning composition in block form that exhibits a high melting point, hardness and high optical transmittance.

Described herein, a transparent soap bar for cleaning the skin including a soap surfactant, a synthetic surfactant, a fragrance component, an amine component, an antioxidant salt, wherein the transparent soap bar has a percent transmittance (% T) value of greater than 40% as measured using the method of Measurement of % Transmittance.

The present invention lies in the field of simulation systems for medical treatments, in particular for treatments carried out on dialysis machines. To do so, a method with which medical treatments can be performed and evaluated without the involvement of real human patients is proposed.

A method of producing a solid soap containing at least one image embedded within the solid soap includes printing a printed image on a base layer of solid soap, applying molten soap to the printed base layer, and allowing the soap to harden so as to embed the image within the solid soap. The image can be a high-resolution image and can be printed on the base layer of solid soap using a flatbed printer. The soap can include a background layer against which the image is visible.
