Liquid detergent compositions including structurant, single dose packs including the same, and methods of forming the single dose packs
Liquid detergent compositions, single dose packs including the same, and methods of forming single dose packs are provided herein. In an embodiment, a liquid detergent composition includes an ionic surfactant, an alkoxylated linear fatty acid structurant, and, optionally, a particulate component. The structurant is solid at ambient temperature of about 21° C. and ambient pressure of about 100 kPa. The particulate component is different from the structurant. The detergent composition exhibits non-Newtonian fluid behavior at 24 hours following shear mixing cessation.
Compositions, devices, systems and methods relating to photo- and thermal-oxidative bleaching of pink-stains
Systems, methods, etc., directed to removing or modifying pink-stain in a substrate. For example, removal of pink-stains caused by Streptoverticillium reticulum in marine vinyl, or to enhance the speed, specificity, and efficacy of other bleaching processes of autofluorescent organic stains in those and other substrates.
Aqueous gel cleaning composition for lipophilic stain removal from vehicle surfaces
A gellable vehicle surface cleaning composition is provided that includes a non-ionic surfactant combined with gelling components of an inorganic gel forming substance and at least one water soluble polymer in a ratio of the inorganic gel forming substance to the hydrophilic polymer of between 0.1-1:1. The non-ionic surfactant and the gelling components are provided in an aqueous solvent system. The aqueous solvent system includes a first solvent having a Kamlet-Taft solvent polarity α (K-T α) value of zero, a second solvent having a K-T α 0.6-0.85 value, and water present at more than 50 total weight percent. A process of for cleaning a vehicle surface with a stain is also provided that includes the composition to the stain on the vehicle surface a composition and after allowing sufficient time for the composition to lift the stain, the stain and the composition are removed from the vehicle surface.
FABRIC CONDITIONER COMPOSITIONS
A fabric conditioner composition comprising: 2 to 40 w.t. % fabric softening active; 0.25 to 3 w.t. % triglyceride; and water; wherein the triglyceride comprises at least 60% C18 chains.
Alkoxylation of hydroxy acids
Alkoxylated hydroxycarboxylic acids according to a formula I′ are provided herein, as well as uses thereof and a process for production thereof. ##STR00001##
Compound 2-[2-(2-hydroxyethoxy)ethoxy]propanoic acid being exclude.
CLEANING WIPES
A cleaning wipe that is composed of a cleaning substrate and a cleaning composition that includes water and cleaning composition integrated therein. The cleaning composition comprises water and a liquid material component having between 0.5 and 2.0 M free hydrogen and between 100 ppm and 800 ppm calcium, the liquid material present in an amount capable of yielding a solution pH of 6.0 or below when present in the aqueous disinfectant composition together with a solubilizer present in an amount between 0 vol % and 5 vol %.
GLYCEROL BASED DETERGENT BUILDERS AND ADDITIVES
Laundry detergent builder additives are described. Laundry detergent builder additives are water softeners that work to maintain detergent stability and improve the cleaning efficiency of the detergent formulation. These detergent additives also maintain alkalinity that assists cleaning, provides anti-corrosion properties, and helps keep soil from redepositing during washing. The laundry detergent builder additives are functionalized glycerol and soybean meal-based derivatives.
The aqueous solvent system includes a first solvent having a Kamlet-Taft solvent polarity α(K-T α) value of zero, a second solvent having a K-T α 0.6-0.85 value, and water present at more than 50 total weight percent. A process of for cleaning a vehicle surface with a stain is also provided that includes the composition to the stain on the vehicle surface a composition and after allowing sufficient time for the composition to lift the stain, the stain and the composition are removed from the vehicle surface.
Compositions, Methods And Systems For Removal Of Starch
The present invention is directed to compositions, methods and systems for the removal of starch. The methods include: providing cleaning solution and rinsing fluid along supply line(s); connecting the supply line(s) to one or more cleaning applicators positioned to apply the cleaning solution or the rinsing fluid to one or more surfaces of a starch applicator system; and providing a controller which is able to control application of the cleaning solution and the rinsing fluid through the one or more cleaning applicators. The systems include the components described in relation to the methods. The compositions include about 5 to 15% w/w alpha amylase to break down the starch into water-soluble units; and non-ionic surfactant(s) and/or solvent(s) to react at the interface of the starch and surface it is attached to as well as liquefy the resins.
