Poly (amino acid) rheology modifier compositions and methods of use
Rheology modifiers comprising cross-linked poly(amino acid) and methods of their use in aqueous compositions. The modifiers comprise cross-linked poly(amino acid) microparticles having a mean equivalent diameter when fully swollen in deionized water of up to 1000 μm, as measured by laser diffraction. In particular, the poly(amino acid) is D-, L- or D,L-Y-poly(glutamic acid). A method of preparing the modifier comprises cross-linking a poly(amino acid), drying the cross-linked poly(amino acid) and grinding the cross-linked poly(amino acid) to have the required diameter.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR FORMING STABLE, LIQUID METAL OXIDE/HYDROXIDE FORMULATIONS
Dry mixtures and liquid formulations are provided that comprise metal oxide and/or metal hydroxide nanocrystalline particles. The dry mixtures are advantageously formulated with select surfactants to be readily solubilized and stable in liquid carriers. Additional select components are provided in preferred combinations that are capable of achieving improved biocidal and chemical agent efficacy. Notably, the inventive formulations provided herein allow for easier delivery of the formulations and increased shelf stability.
Compositions and Their Use
Disclosed herein are compositions including (A) at least one polymer including (a) a core obtained by reacting a diamine H.sub.2N—Z—NH.sub.2 with a compound having a total number TN of carboxyl groups per molecule in the range of from 3 to 10, where Z is selected from C.sub.3-C.sub.12-cycloalkylene that may be non-substituted or substituted with one or more O—C.sub.1-C.sub.4-alkyl groups and where C.sub.3-C.sub.12-cycloalkylene may bear one to three methyl groups, and where carboxyl groups are selected from COOH and COOX.sup.1 with X.sup.1 being selected from C.sub.1-C.sub.4-alkyl, or two carboxyl groups together form an anhydride group, (b) polyalkylene oxide chains, and (B) at least one hydrolase.
Aqueous dispersion of hydrosoluble or hydroswellable polymer
The present invention concerns an aqueous dispersion comprising particles of water-soluble polymer of average molecular weight higher than or equal to 0.5 million daltons, or of water-swellable polymer, and a mixture of at least one sulfate salt and at least one phosphate salt in weight proportions of between 25:75 and 75:25.
Copolymers and use thereof in cleaning-agent compositions
Copolymers prepared by the free-radical copolymerization of the following components: a) cationic monomers selected from the group consisting of cationic (meth)acrylamide monomers and diallyldimethylammonium chloride, b) polyethylene glycol macromonomers, and c) uncharged acrylamide monomers.
Unit dose detergent pack including a liquid detergent composition with improved color stability
A unit dose detergent pack is disclosed. The unit dose detergent pack includes a pouch formed from a water-soluble film and a liquid detergent composition releasably disposed within the pouch. The liquid detergent composition includes an alkanolamine, an acid, a copolymer formed from first and second monomers with the first monomer being diallyldimethylammonium chloride (DADMAC), and an alkali metal sulfite or bisulfite. The copolymer and the alkali metal sulfite or bisulfite interact with at least one of the alkanolamine and the acid to reduce discoloration of the liquid detergent composition.
Touch screen cleaning and protectant composition
A cleaning and protectant composition and a method for using the composition on an article such as a touch screen or screen protector for a mobile device, computer, or other electronic device. The composition comprises a polymeric film former. The polymeric film former is an oxazoline homopolymer or an extended or a modified polymer based on an oxazoline homopolymer. The polymeric film former forms a retention coating to retain components within the composition for an extended period of time. The composition is also present in a kit with an application device.
Encapsulated perfume compositions and methods of preparing them
An encapsulated perfume composition comprising a slurry of core-shell microcapsules in a suspending medium, the core comprising at least one perfume ingredient, and the shell comprising a thermosetting resin formed by the reaction of shell-forming materials selected from monomers, pre-polymers and/or pre-condensates, and wherein the encapsulated perfume composition comprises a polymeric stabilizer that is a reaction product of a polymeric surfactant, and a silane that contains functional groups capable of forming covalent bonds with the shell.
Composition For Surface Modification
The present invention relates to a composition for surface modification. The composition for surface modification according to the present invention contains a particular carbodiimide-based compound, thus forms a covalent bond without damaging skin, hair, or fabric, and semipermanently provides desired skin or hair surface modification effects or fabric care effects.
COMPOSITIONS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS
Described herein is a detergent composition including (A) at least one polymer including (a) a core that includes one to 3 moieties of general formula (I),
