Microcapsuies thus modified exhibit enhanced substantivity to substrates such as textiles when used in laundry preparations.
Cleaning agent for bathrooms in block form
An improved cleaning composition in block form is described. The composition addresses the consumer issues of having a clear product that remains clear through the life of the product and also has favorable handling properties such as a high melting point and increased hardness. The improvements are the result of three essential ingredients of particular block copolymer nonionic surfactants, alkanecarboxylic salts, and particular solvents at restricted proportions in the overall composition that are molded into a cleaning composition in block form that exhibits a high melting point, hardness and high optical transmittance.

An improved cleaning composition in block form is described. Suggested is a rim block with improved scent performance, comprising or consisting of: (a) a solid rim block base, (b) at least one non-encapsulated perfume oil, and (c) at least one perfume oil same or different from component (b) encapsulated in a maltodextrin matrix.

A process of laundering fabrics, comprising the step of separately delivering a detergent and a whitening additive wherein the whitening additive comprises a soil release polymer, a hueing dye, and wherein if the whitening additive comprises a surfactant, the weight ratio of the polymer to the surfactant is at least 1:1, the whitening additive is substantially free of surfactant.

Environmentally biodegradable microcapsules
Disclosed is a composition including controlled release particles, wherein each of the controlled release particles includes: (a) a core including at least one hydrophobic active ingredient; and (b) a wall at least partially surrounding the core and including: (i) an organofunctional silane; (ii) an epoxy; (iii) an amine; (iv) an isocyanate; (v) an epoxide curing agent; wherein the controlled release particles are effective to retain the at least one hydrophobic active ingredient upon exposure to water and effective to release the at least one hydrophobic active ingredient in response to friction. A method for preparing the composition is also disclosed.

The present invention relates to personal care compositions comprising malodor reduction compositions and methods of making and using such personal care compositions.
