Soap compositions and methods
Natural soap compositions and methods of manufacturing the same having anti-microbial properties for treating and preventing diaper rash and other microbial infections. The soap compositions may contain one or more fatty acids with carbon length ranging from four (C4) to twenty-two (C22) and/or natural fatty acid mixtures of coconut oil, olive oil, and/or tall oil fatty acids which are saponified with lye. The saponification lye may be sodium or potassium hydroxide. In preferred embodiments, the soap compositions contain at least one of sodium or potassium caprate, sodium or potassium caprylate, or mixtures thereof, especially 55:45% caprylate to caprate. The soap compositions are effective at treating or preventing diaper rashes and other microbial infections associated with Candida albicans (Ca—yeast), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (Psa—a Gram negative bacteria), Staphylococcus aureus (Sa—a Gram positive bacteria), and Aspergillus niger (An—a mold).

POST-BREW COFFEE GROUND PRODUCTS
Methods and systems to manufacture a soap bar comprising post-brew coffee particles are disclosed. A soap bar may comprise multiple post-brew coffee ground particle sizes to take advantage of the benefits associated with each size. For example, the soap bar may comprise espresso grinds (0.20 mm), regular grinds (1.0 mm), and/or coarse grinds (1.5 mm). A saponified fat base, e.g., a milk soap base, a plant oil base, and/or an animal fat base may be obtained and heated to a consistency. Collected post-brew coffee grounds may then be added. The coffee grounds may be anywhere from 1% to 65% of the total weight of the final product, depending on the desired soap quality. The final soap product may comprise coffee ground positive and coffee ground negative layers or portion, or the coffee grounds may be evenly dispersed throughout the product.

Cleansing Bars with Taurine
A cleansing bar composition comprising at least one cleanser chosen from soap and surfactant; taurine, in free or salt form; and one or more hydrophobic stabilizing agents. The hydrophobic stabilizing agent prevents the crystallization of taurine on the surface of the cleansing bar. Also methods of making the cleansing bar to inhibit crystallization of taurine in a cleansing bar.

METHOD FOR EXTRACTING AND PRODUCING USEFUL SUBSTANCE, AND SOAP, COSMETICS, OR HEALTH SUPPLEMENT HAVING SAID USEFUL SUBSTANCE AS MAIN COMPONENT
The present invention simply and efficiently extracts and produces useful substances such as astaxanthin, silk proteins, and polyphenols from a plant material abundantly containing these useful substances. A material such as silk proteins or plant materials containing a useful substance is: immersed in an alkaline aqueous solution which is of a neutral salt and which is obtained by adding a proper amount of an alkaline agent to an aqueous solution of, for example, sodium chloride, calcium chloride, or the like; and reductively decomposed using the reduction potential generated on the alkaline side of the aqueous solution of a neutral salt to extract the useful substance in a state of being dissolved in the aqueous solution of a neutral salt.
Skin Cleansing System and Method for Visual Indication of an Efficacious Cleansing Duration
A skin cleansing system and method for visual indication of an efficacious cleansing duration provides a cleaning composition that works to kill germs; and then visually indicate, through color, when a sufficient cleaning duration, of approximately 20 seconds, of cleansing has occurred. The cleaning composition comprises a liquid soap and a colored moisturizer that remain separated in a dispenser, but combine simultaneously when applied to the skin for washing with water. The soap requires a cleaning duration of about 20 seconds to kill the germs. The soap also requires the same cleaning duration of 20 seconds to dissolve the nonpolar oils in the colored moisturizer. Thus, when the colored moisturizer washes away, this is an indication that the germs have also washed away. The dissolving action is a result of the nonpolar tail of the soap engaging and destroying, both the germs and the nonpolar oils in the colored moisturizer.
