LIQUID FOOD PRODUCT COMPRISING LIQUID FRACTION OF BREWER'S SPENT GRAIN
The present invention relates to a liquid food product comprising a liquid fraction of a brewer's spent grain and a method of preparing said liquid food product. In particular the liquid food product is prepared from brewer's spent grain where a vegetable or animal material has been added and the mixture subjected to an extraction step to provide an improved taste and mouthfeel.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PRODUCING A PROTEIN AND FIBER FEED PRODUCT FROM A WHOLE STILLAGE BYPRODUCT PRODUCED IN A CORN DRY MILLING PROCESS
A method and system are disclosed for producing a protein and fiber feed product from a whole stillage byproduct produced in a corn dry milling process for making alcohol, such as ethanol, and/or other biofuels/biochemicals. In one embodiment, the method includes separating the whole stillage byproduct into an insoluble solids portion and a centrate (solubles) portion. Thereafter, a fine fiber and protein portion may be separated from the centrate (solubles) portion. The fine fiber and protein portion may be dewatered to provide a protein and fiber feed product. In one example, the protein and fiber feed product can include insoluble solids, such as wet or dry distiller's grains with or without solubles. The resulting protein and fiber feed product may be sold and/or used as rumen feed, swine feed, chicken feed, aqua feed, food uses, or have other uses, including pharmaceutical and/or chemical usage, for example.

Methods for producing a high protein corn meal from a whole stillage byproduct and system therefore
The present invention relates generally to corn dry-milling, and more specifically, to methods for producing a high protein corn meal from a whole stillage byproduct produced in a corn dry-milling process for making ethanol and a system therefore. In one embodiment, a method for producing a high protein corn meal from a whole stillage byproduct includes, in a corn dry-milling process for making ethanol, separating the whole stillage byproduct into an insoluble solids portion and a thin stillage portion. The thin stillage portion is separated into a protein portion and a water soluble solids portion. Next, the protein portion is dewatered then dried to define a high protein corn meal that includes at least 40 wt % protein on a dry basis.

USE OF BY-PRODUCTS FROM THE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY
A by-product from an alcoholic beverage manufacturing process may be used to cultivate a thraustochytrid. The by-product may comprise a residue from a distillation step used in malt whisky manufacture, such as pot ale. The cultivation may be used to provide a product with enhanced amounts of lipids, oils, or fatty acids, including omega-3 fatty acids.

PROCESS FOR RECOVERING PROTEIN AND FIBRE COMPOSITIONS FROM BRWERS' SPENT GRAIN
The present disclosure provides processes for the production of protein and fibre compositions from brewer's spent grain. The process comprises micronising dried brewer's spent grain using a pin mill and fractionating the micronised brewer's spent grain using an air classifier. The present disclosure also provides protein and fibre compositions, processes for producing food products incorporating the protein or fibre compositions, and food products comprising the protein or fibre compositions.

METHOD OF SEPARATING OIL
A method of separating oil from a composition containing an oil and water emulsion, by adding a separation additive which is a mixture of a fatty ester of an alkoxylated polyol and a fatty ester of alkoxylated glycerol, and performing at least one oil separation step. The method is particularly suitable for separating corn oil from stillage produced in a corn ethanol mill.
