Cell culture apparatus, imaging unit, and culture monitoring method
A cell culture apparatus includes a flow passage in which cell suspension containing at least one of cells or cell masses as granular bodies is to flow, and an imaging unit that is provided in a middle of the flow passage and continuously images the plurality of granular bodies contained in the cell suspension to acquire a plurality of images while the cell suspension flows in the flow passage.
Modular oxygen monitor
Provided herein are systems for continuously measuring oxygen and carbon dioxide gas levels inside a cell culture incubator, comprising an oxygen sensor that uses LED based fluorescence technology to determine the amount of oxygen in the surrounding atmosphere, a carbon dioxide sensor that uses LED based Non-dispersive Infra-Red (NDIR) technology to determine the amount of carbon dioxide in the surrounding atmosphere, and electronics to wirelessly monitor the output from the oxygen sensor and carbon dioxide sensor. Most preferably, the system can be placed inside a cell culture incubator, and sensor readings are pre-compensated for temperature, pressure, and humidity. Also provided herein are methods of using the same.
Bioreactor System for Cell Cultivation
The present invention relates to a novel bioreactor system for cell cultivation. More specifically, the invention relates to a compact bioreactor system which has several integrated functions and enables small scale static culture as well as scale-up rocking culture in the same bioreactor. The bioreactor system comprises tray for positioning of a cell culture bag having adjustable volume, a lid covering the cell culture bag and provided with heating function, an integrated perfusion unit, an integrated cell loading unit, and an integrated unit for automatic cell culture sampling, wherein the bioreactor system is controlled by a single control unit. The invention also relates to a method of cell culture using the bioreactor system for culture of therapeutic cells.
APPARATUS FOR THE COMBINED INCUBATION AND VITRIFICATION OF A BIOLOGICAL MATERIAL
An apparatus, that relates to the field of in vitro fertilization, is provided for the combined incubation and vitrification of a biological material. The apparatus can be configured to allow for automatic incubation and vitrification of a viable biological material. Thereby predetermined protocols for handling the biological material can be performed precisely and accurately thus avoiding errors and deviations from the intended protocol, as caused by manual human intervention.
CULTURE APPARATUS
A culture apparatus includes: an inner case having an opening in a front surface and stainless-steel shelf rests on left and right side surfaces, the inner case configured to be sterilized with hydrogen peroxide or by dry heat sterilization; and a stainless-steel shelf plate placed on the shelf rests and slid in a front-back direction, the stainless-steel shelf plate configured to be sterilized with hydrogen peroxide or by dry heat sterilization. The shelf plate has a base surface on which a culture is placed, flanges respectively formed by being bent upward, at bent portions in end portions on left and right sides of the base surface, and sliding members respectively provided to outer surfaces of the flanges, at least on a front side in a direction of movement when the shelf plate is being inserted, the sliding members made of a material different from a material of the inner case.
Dendritic cell generator
Devices, systems, and methods can be used for the automated production of dendritic cells (DC) from dendritic cell progenitors, such as monocytes obtained from peripheral blood. The invention makes it possible to obtain sufficient quantities of a subject's own DC for use in preparing and characterizing vaccines, for activating and characterizing the activation state of the subject's immune response, and to aid in preventing and/or treating cancer or infectious disease.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CULTIVATING BIOLOGICAL CELLS
In a method for cultivating biological cells of differing types, carriers are stored in an incubator, in which the carriers comprise one or more storage chambers. One or more cultures comprising cells of a common type are stored in one of the storage chambers. Cultivation parameters are assigned to the cultures. Datasets containing organizational coordinates of each storage chamber and the cultivation parameters of the culture stored therein are stored in a data processing device. The carriers are removed from the incubator at predefined time intervals in order to treat the cultures according to their respective cultivation parameters. The datasets are divided into groups with correlated cultivation parameters. The cultures are subsequently treated in groups.
Measurement apparatus for measuring the concentration of a gaseous substance
The invention relates to a measurement apparatus for measuring the concentration of a gaseous substance. The apparatus comprises a light source, a light sensor, and a housing comprising at least one first housing member having a low thermal conductivity. A light path is formed from said light source to said light sensor, wherein the light path passes through a measurement region within said housing. The light source is configured to emit light with a spectral distribution such that said light is absorbed by said gaseous substance. Said light sensor is configured to receive the light emitted by the light source after it has passed through the measurement region. The first housing member comprises a thermal shielding region facing said measurement region on its one side and said light sensor on its other side, and is configured to permit the passage of light.
CULTURE DEVICE
A culture apparatus includes an inner box for housing a culture, an outer box surrounding the inner box, and a first vibration prevention mechanism that is disposed between the inner box and the outer box, and is configured to prevent the inner box from vibrating due to the vibration of the outer box.
NOVEL TECHNIQUE AND PARTS KIT FOR SEALING AN INCUBATOR IN A WALL
A kit of parts for sealing openings between an enclosure extending through a wall separating a cleanroom and a space outside the cleanroom. Multiple gaskets, frame members, and a lower skirt are positioned to seal any openings between the side, top and bottom surfaces of the enclosure and proximate wall surfaces. The sealing components can be easily installed without the use of tools.
