The apparatus comprises:—a squeezing-diluting-unpacking module (4) configured to receive an input waste stream (3) of packaged waste and a dilution fluid (10), to lacerate the packaging, and to output a coarser non-digestible stream (23) and a comparatively dirty and comparatively liquid slurry (26),—at least one settling module (30, 30a) configured to allow inerts in the comparatively dirty and comparatively liquid slurry (26) to sediment and to output a finer inerts stream (40) and a comparatively refined slurry (42),—a thickening/dewatering module (60) configured to separate and output a liquid stream (69) and a comparatively dewatered slurry (72).

METHOD FOR PRODUCING BIOPRODUCTS FRONT STREAMS OF ORGANIC MATERIAL

Method for producing bioproducts from streams of organic material, comprising the following steps: (i) the physical-biological pre-treating of the organic stream with water and one or more mechanical steps; (ii) setting the pH value of the mixture between pH 5 and pH 9; iii) adding an inoculum of a natural anaerobic culture that releases organic compounds; iv) a first separation step which splits the mixture into a solid and a liquid fraction, after which an anaerobic fermentation processes the solid fraction, with formation of biogas and digestate; v) an aerobic treatment of the separated liquid fraction with biological conversion of the organic compounds to a protein-rich bioproduct; vi) a second separation step with separation of the formed protein-rich bioproduct; vii) recirculating the liquid phase; viii) drying the formed protein-rich bioproduct, such that in the end a dry, protein-rich bioproduct is obtained as well as the bioproducts biogas and digestate.

The present disclosure generally relates to a method for controlled pretreatment of lignocellulosic biomass. The method comprises the steps of: Pretreating (S10) a lignocellulosic biomass material in a pretreatment arrangement, the pretreating comprising impregnating (S10A) the lignocellulosic biomass with an SO2 feed in an impregnation vessel of the pretreatment arrangement; collecting (S20) a number of process parameters of the pretreatment, which process parameters include at least a feed parameter related to the total amount of lignocellulosic biomass input to the pretreatment arrangement, and a dry matter parameter related to the dry matter content of lignocellulosic biomass input to the pretreatment arrangement; and adjusting (S30) the SO2 feed in response to the process parameters.

Organic Waste Digester System

A device and method for the extraction of stem cells from adipose tissue wherein an adipose tissue dissolved in an isotonic solution is subjected to a washing operation and subsequent filtering step and to centrifugation operations to initiate three stem cell cultures thereby maximising in this manner the yield of the sample collected.

METHOD FOR COOLING BIOMASS
20210340487 · 2021-11-04 · ·

The present invention relates to an improved method and device for treating biomass in which thermally treated biomass is discharged from a pressurized prehydrolysis reactor unit and dewatered before it is cooled with cold liquid. The cooled slurry of biomass is then enzymatically treated.

TREATMENT OF A MASS OF MATERIAL BY PRESSING

--A device and method for dewatering a mass of material and a method and system for recycling a biogenic material. A vertical press has a press space formed between a tool provided with openings and a press plunger movable relative thereto. Conveying means convey the mass of material from a feed side toward an opposite discharge side. The press space is laterally confined by opposite side walls but is not confined in the direction of the feed side and the discharge side. A biogenic material is converted microbially and/or enzymatically into gas and fermentation residues in a fermentation plant and the latter are dewatered by means of a vertical press to such an extent that thermal utilization is made possible.--
