COMBINATION OF A TLR7 MODULATING COMPOUND AND AN HIV VACCINE

The present disclosure describes methods, compositions, and kits related to the combination of a TLR7 modulating compound and an HIV vaccine. The combination can be used in a method of treating or preventing an HIV infection in a human.

CHIMPANZEE ADENOVIRAL VECTOR-BASED FILOVIRUS VACCINES

This invention provides vaccines for inducing an immune response and protection against filovirus infection for use as a preventative vaccine in humans. In particular, the invention provides chimpanzee adenoviral vectors expressing filovirus proteins from different strains of Ebolavirus (EBOV) or Marburg virus (MARV).

Soluble Forms of Hendra and Nipah Virus G Glycoprotein

This invention relates to soluble forms of G glycoprotein from Hendra and Nipah virus. In particular, this invention relates to compositions comprising soluble forms of G glycoprotein from Hendra and Nipah virus and also to diagnostic and therapeutic methods using the soluble forms of G glycoprotein from Hendra and Nipah virus. Further, the invention relates to therapeutic antibodies including neutralizing antibodies, and vaccines for the prevention and treatment of infection by Hendra and Nipah viruses.

COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR TREATING SECONDARY TUBERCULOSIS AND NONTUBERCULOUS MYCOBACTERIUM INFECTIONS
20210253650 · 2021-08-19 ·

Provided herein are fusion polypeptides comprising at least two Mycobacterial antigens, wherein one Mycobacterial antigen is a strong central memory T cell activator, and wherein one Mycobacterial antigen is a strong effector memory T cell activator. Also provided herein are methods of making and using such fusion polypeptides for the prevention or treatment of a secondary Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection as well as for the prevention or treatment of a nontuberculous Mycobacterium infection in a mammal.

Compositions and Methods for Generating an Immune Response to a Flavivirus
20210100891 · 2021-04-08 ·

The compositions and methods are described for generating an immune response to a Flavivirus such as Zika virus. The compositions and methods described herein relate to a modified vaccinia Ankara (MVA) vector encoding one or more viral antigens for generating a protective immune response to a member of genus Flavivirus (such as a member of species Zika virus), in the subject to which the vector is administered. The compositions and methods of the present invention are useful both prophylactically and therapeutically and may be used to prevent and/or treat an infection caused by Flavivirus.

Non-genetic modification of enveloped viruses

The invention concerns a modified enveloped virus wherein said virus has at least one anti-tumor, tumor-specific peptide non-genetically attached to or inserted in/through the viral envelope; a pharmaceutical composition comprising same; and a method of treating cancer using same.

HEPATITIS B IMMUNISATION REGIMEN AND COMPOSITIONS

There is provided a method of treating chronic hepatitis B infection (CHB) in a human, comprising the steps of: a) administering to the human a composition comprising a replication-defective chimpanzee adenoviral (ChAd) vector comprising a polynucleotide encoding a hepatitis B surface antigen (HBs) and a nucleic acid encoding a hepatitis B virus core antigen (HBc); b) administering to the human a composition comprising a Modified Vaccinia Virus Ankara (MVA) vector comprising a polynucleotide encoding a hepatitis B surface antigen (HBs) and a nucleic acid encoding a hepatitis B virus core antigen (HBc); and c) administering to the human a composition comprising a recombinant hepatitis B surface antigen (HBs), recombinant hepatitis B virus core antigen (HBc) and an adjuvant.
