Apoptotic upregulation by myxoma virus expressing walleye dermal sarcoma virus orfC
A recombinant myxoma virus that encodes the orfC gene of walleye dermal sarcoma virus (WDSV). The orfC gene of walleye dermal sarcoma virus (WDSV) plays a role in induction of seasonal regression of tumors caused by WDSV. This gene was isolated from WDSV and recombined into myxoma virus (MYXV orfC) for use as an oncolytic therapy. The recombinant myxoma virus can be used in oncolytic virus therapy to specifically target and lyse cancer cells without harming healthy cells in cancer patients.
NON-NATURALLY OCCURRING CAPSIDS FOR DELIVERY OF NUCLEIC ACIDS AND/OR PROTEINS
Provided herein are non-naturally occurring self-assembling polypeptides for transferring nucleic acids and/or proteins to a cell, pharmaceutical compositions comprising such polypeptides, and methods for treatment comprising use of such compositions. The methods for producing polypeptide compositions may include combining in a solution, unassembled recombinant GAG-like proteins, nucleic acids and/or proteins in low salt conditions; and increasing the ionic strength of the solution.
Immunostimulating peptides
The invention provides for novel immunostimulating peptides, peptide constructs and compositions. Further, the invention provides for methods of treatment utilising the peptides, peptide constructs and compositions.

MESSENGER RNA BASED VIRAL PRODUCTION
The present invention provides methods for producing recombinant viral particles based on the use of exogenous mRNAs to supply various helper factors for assembly of viral particles, purified recombinant viral particles produced using such methods, and methods of using such viral particles.
USE OF HUMAN DERIVED IMMUNOSUPPRESSIVE PROTEINS AND PEPTIDES AS MEDICAMENTS
The present invention concerns uses of immune modulating and immune suppressing peptides from human endogenous retroviruses. In particular, the present invention concerns a use of an immune suppressive peptide for immune suppression and for reduction of inflammation.
Compositions and methods involving endogenous retrovirus proteins
This disclosure describes methods and compositions that involve endogenous retrovirus proteins as diagnostic markers and/or therapeutic agents. The detection of endogenous retrovirus envelope proteins on a cell surface can indicate early neoplasticity of the cell. Antibody compositions that specifically bind to cell-surface-expressed endogenous retrovirus proteins may be used in such diagnostic methods. Overexpression of the endogenous retrovirus proteins can slow cell growth and decrease cell viability.
