20230212531 · 2023-07-06 ·

The present invention relates to oncolytic virus comprising: (i) a GM-CSF-encoding gene; and (ii) an immune co-stimulatory pathway activating molecule or an immune co-stimulatory pathway activating molecule-encoding gene.

COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR INDUCING DIFFERENTIATION INTO MYELOID CELLS, AND USE THEREOF
20220409660 · 2022-12-29 ·

Provided are a composition and method for inducing direct conversion from a somatic cell into a myeloid cell and use thereof, in which differentiation from a somatic cell into a myeloid cell can be efficiently induced through the expression of a single direct conversion inducer without undergoing the pluripotency stage of induced pluripotent stem cells, and thus, the composition can be widely used as an effective preventive and therapeutic agent for immune diseases.

Modified Marek's disease virus, and vaccines made therefrom

The present invention provides an effective vaccine for Marek's disease, which may be prepared using a recombinant Marek's Disease Virus (MDV), strain CVI988, having been transformed with a foreign DNA construct that includes a long terminal repeat sequence of a reticuloendotheliosis virus. This safe viral agent elicits a highly protective immune response in a chicken against virulent MDV challenge without causing a significant degree of pathogenicity. Suitable formulations of the vaccine for use in chickens include an effective immunization dosage of this novel viral agent, along with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or diluent.

ONCOLYTIC VIRUS STRAIN

The present invention relates to an oncolytic virus which is, or is derived from, a clinical isolate which has been selected by comparing the abilities of a panel of three or more clinical isolates of the same viral species to kill tumor cells of two or more tumor cell lines in vitro and selecting a clinical isolate which is capable of killing cells of two or more tumor cell lines more rapidly and/or at a lower dose in vitro than one or more of the other clinical isolates in the panel.

CELL-TO-CELL DELIVERY OF RNA CIRCUITS
20230076395 · 2023-03-09 ·

Disclosed herein include methods, compositions, and kits suitable for use in the delivery of polyribonucleotides and circuits. There are provided, in some embodiments, RNA exporter proteins comprising an RNA-binding domain, a membrane-binding domain, and an interaction domain capable of nucleating self-assembly. Disclosed herein include polynucleotides encoding cargo RNA molecule(s). In some embodiments, a plurality of RNA exporter proteins are capable of self-assembling into lipid-enveloped nanoparticles (LNs) secreted from a sender cell in which the RNA exporter proteins are expressed, thereby generating a population of LNs comprising a fusogen and exported cargo RNA molecule(s).

MODIFIED ONCOLYTIC VIRUS
20230203453 · 2023-06-29 ·

The present invention relates to an oncolytic virus comprising: (i) a fusogenic protein-encoding gene; and (ii) an immune stimulatory molecule-encoding gene.

PARTICLE DELIVERY SYSTEMS

Provided herein are delivery particle systems (XDP) useful for the delivery of payloads of any type. In some embodiments, a XDP particle system with tropism for target cells of interest is used to deliver CRISPR/Cas polypeptides (e.g., CasX proteins) and guide nucleic acids (gNA), for the modification of nucleic acids in target cells. Also provided are methods of making and using such XDP to modify the nucleic acids in such cells.

Vaccine compositions for treatment of Zika virus

The present disclosure provides compositions and methods useful for preventing and treating Zika virus infection. As described herein, the compositions and methods are based on development of immunogenic compositions that include virus-like particles (VLPs) which comprise one or more Moloney Murine leukemia virus (MMLV) core proteins and include one or more Zika epitopes, such as, for example, from Zika envelope glycoprotein E and the Zika structural protein NS1 including variants thereof.

The present invention relates to methods and kits for diagnosis of cancer in a subject by detecting human endogenous retrovirus env (HERV-WL) polypeptides.

Vaccine compositions for the treatment of coronavirus

The present disclosure provides compositions and methods useful for preventing and/or treating coronavirus infection. As described herein, the compositions and methods are based on development of immunogenic compositions that include virus-like particles (VLPs) which comprise one or more Moloney Murine leukemia virus (MMLV) core proteins and include one or more coronavirus epitopes, such as, for example, from SARS-Cov-2 spike protein.
