Provided herein is a chimeric Potato virus X (PVX) filament conjugated to a therapeutic agent, a fusogenic peptide or a nucleolin-specific peptide ligand. In one aspect, they additionally comprise encapsulating a nucleic acid. Also provided are methods for use of the compositions diagnostically and therapeutically.

Viral chimeric particle of potato virus X and use thereof for in vitro diagnosis of Sjögren syndrome

The present invention relates to a chimeric virus particle of potato virus X, said particle having, as a capsid protein, a fusion protein containing a capsid protein and an antigenic determinant of lipocalin, and the use thereof in the in vitro diagnosis of Sjgren's Syndrome using the ELISA method.

VIRAL COAT DELIVERY OF INSECT RESISTANCE GENES IN PLANTS

Herein, is describe a new technology that exploits modified-virus-like particles (VLP) to improve deliverability and increase effectiveness of dsRNAs/chemicals/peptides to difficult-to-control phytophagous insect pests, including hemipteran and lepidopteran insects. This technology has also the potential to control plant pathogens including fungi, like Asian Soybean Rust (ASR).

MODIFIED PLANT VIRUS SYSTEM FOR DELIVERY OF NUCLEIC ACIDS INTO MAMMALIAN CELLS
20250332284 · 2025-10-30 ·

The disclosure provides modified plant viruses designed for delivering a nucleotide of interest into mammalian cells. The modified plant viruses include a plant virus nucleotide sequence (e.g. fragment) that is capable of transfecting a mammalian cell when that mammalian cell expresses a receptor for the modified plant virus. Accordingly, the disclosure also provides receptors for the modified plant viruses as well as methods of using the receptor or the modified plant virus and receptor.
