METHODS AND AGRICULTURAL COMPOSITIONS FOR PREVENTING OR CONTROLLING PLANT DISEASES

The disclosure provides a method of treating, preventing, and/or controlling plant diseases by applying the agricultural composition comprising a bacterial isolate belonging to Paenibacillus or Bacillus. Also, the disclosure provides a method of enhancing disease resistance of a plant seed by applying the agricultural composition to the plant seed, and an agricultural composition comprising the bacterial isolate.

Poultry farm practices

The present invention relates to methods of improving the environment within a poultry farming facility including reducing ammonia production in a poultry facility, inhibiting urease enzymes in poultry litter, reducing levels of pathogenic bacteria in poultry litter, improving productivity of poultry farms, reducing or preventing pododermatitis in poultry reared in mass production poultry facilities and controlling pests in poultry litter. Compositions, suitable for use in such methods, comprising at least one microorganism of the genus Bacillus and at least one biosurfactant wherein the biosurfactant is present in an amount of 2 mg/L to 7000 mg/L are also described.

Compositions and methods for improving the health of aquatic animals

The present invention relates to compositions and methods for increasing the health of aquatic animals comprising one or more selected bacterial strains.

Compositions and methods for increasing the health of aquatic animals, including fish and shrimp, through the use of Bacillus strains capable of controlling pathogenic microorganisms in the gut of aquatic animals, reducing inflammation in the gut of aquatic animals, and increasing the surface area and length of intestinal villi in the gut of aquatic animals.

Fermentation Process For Preparing Postbiotic With By-Product Of Wheat Processing

A fermentation process for preparing a postbiotic with a by-product of wheat processing includes: preparation of a material; inoculation of Paenibacillus polymyxa (P. polymyxa)+Brachybacterium paraconglomeratum (B. paraconglomeratum)+Flavobacterium pectinovorum (F. pectinovorum) as fermentation strains; and isolation and extraction of the postbiotic. Since wheat starch wastewater and wheat bran include abundant nutrient components, the wheat starch wastewater and wheat bran can be used to prepare postbiotics, which is conducive to reducing a wastewater treatment cost of a related enterprise and protecting the environment, and can turn waste into treasure and increase an added value of an agricultural product. Preliminary experimental results show that, when no nutrients are additionally supplemented, marker products such as lipoteichoic acid (LTA) and short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) in a prepared postbiotic solution are at high contents, which can extend an industrial chain of wheat deep-processing and improve an industrial value of deep processing technology.
