Provided are a microorganism in which activity of a GNAT family N-acetyltransferase protein is weakened; a method for producing O-acetyl homoserine and L-methionine using the same; a composition for producing O-acetyl homoserine, the composition including the microorganism; and use of the microorganism for producing O-acetyl homoserine or L-methionine.

BIOTECHNOLOGICAL PRODUCTION OF COLLAGEN PROTEINS AND BACTERIAL COLLAGEN-LIKE PROTEINS BY RECOMBINANT MICROORGANISMS

Polynucleotides with an N-terminal signal sequence encode an amino acid sequence encoding a collagen protein or a bacterial collagen-like protein. Fusion products of collagen-like protein with various N-terminal signal peptides lead to increased production of collagen-like protein and secretion in a fermentative process for secreting bacterial collagen-like proteins in a host.

CORYNEBACTERIUM SP. MUTANT MICROORGANISM PRODUCING L-GLUTAMIC ACID AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING L-GLUTAMIC ACID USING SAME

The present invention relates to a Corynebacterium sp. mutant microorganism producing L-glutamic acid and a method of producing L-glutamic acid using the same, and more specifically, to a novel oxidoreductase variant involved in the L-glutamic acid biosynthetic pathway, a polynucleotide, and a transformant, as well as a method of producing L-glutamic acid using the same. The oxidoreductase variant according to the present invention is obtained by substituting one or more amino acids in the amino acid sequence constituting oxidoreductase to change the enzymatic activity of the oxidoreductase, and a recombinant microorganism comprising the oxidoreductase variant is capable of efficiently producing L-glutamic acid.

A novel technique for improving secretory production of a heterologous protein by coryneform bacteria is provided, and thereby a method for secretory production of a heterologous protein is provided. A coryneform bacterium having an ability of secretory producing a heterologous protein and having been modified so that an activity of a Mdh protein is reduced is cultured to produce the heterologous protein by secretory production.
