Process and system for steel and hydrogen production using recycled ferrous scrap and natural gas
A method for producing a homogenous molten composition and a fluid product is disclosed. For example, the method includes producing a first molten metal composition in an enclosed volume, contacting a hydrocarbon reactant with the first molten metal composition, decomposing the hydrocarbon reactant into at least one fluid product and carbon, forming a metal alloy from a mixture of the carbon and the first molten metal composition, and separating a homogenous second molten composition from the metal alloy.
BLAST FURNACE SLAG GRANULATION AND WASTE HEAT RECOVERY AND UTILIZATION DEVICE AND METHOD
Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for granulation of a blast furnace slag and recycling of waste heat. The apparatus comprises an aerosol granulation nozzle module, a flow guide, a cyclone separator and a waste heat recovery device; wherein the aerosol granulation nozzle module comprises a slag flow controller, a compressed air flow control valve, a water volume control valve and an aerosol spray gun; the flow guide is configured to fully mix the medium temperature gas and the high-temperature granular slag having a primarily solidified surface in the flow guide; and the cyclone separator is configured to separate the high-temperature granular slag and the medium-to-high-temperature gas. The present invention completes the granulation of blast furnace slag, and organically couples slag sensible heat recovery with sludge drying, thereby recovering the waste heat in the process of slag granulation and improving the efficiency of waste heat recovery and utilization.
Methods for coal combustion product (CCP) recovery and related products
Methods of recovering coal combustion products (CCPs) and/or dry bottom furnace slag (DBFS) from coal combustion byproducts are disclosed. The methods include compiling coal combustion byproducts (e.g., from combustion of lignite coal and/or bituminous coal), grinding the coal combustion byproducts to form ground coal combustion byproducts with a maximum particle size of 40 microns, and separating CCPs from the ground coal combustion byproducts using an electrostatic precipitator. The following CCPs can be separated from the coal combustion byproducts using the presently disclosed methods: fly ash, bottom ash (e.g., containing pyrites), scrubber materials (e.g., calcium sulfate and calcium sulfite), and raw coal.

Efficient Treatment Method and Apparatus for Multiphase Steel Slag
The present application provides an efficient treatment method and apparatus for multiphase steel slag. According to the present application, the treatment apparatus for multiphase steel slag comprises a steel slag feeding apparatus and a drum for treating steel slag, and the steel slag feeding apparatus comprises a feeding chute; the treatment apparatus for multiphase steel slag further comprises a storage compartment disposed between the feeding chute and the drum; the storage compartment is an open cylinder, and has one end forming a working fit with the lower open end of the feeding chute and the other end being fixedly connected to and coaxial with the treatment cavity of the drum. By means of the storage compartment obliquely placed between the front of the drum and the feeding chute and used for buffering and transition, there is no need to use a slag raking apparatus, and safe technological treatment of various steel slag by a drum is implemented.
PROCESS AND SYSTEM FOR STEEL AND HYDROGEN PRODUCTION USING RECYCLED FERROUS SCRAP AND NATURAL GAS

Methods for Coal Combustion Product (CCP) Recovery and Related Products
Methods of recovering coal combustion products (CCPs) from coal combination byproducts are disclosed. The methods include compiling coal combustion byproducts (e.g., lignite coal and/or bituminous coal), grinding the coal combustion byproducts to form ground coal combustion byproducts with a maximum particle size of 40 microns, and separating the ground coal combustion byproducts to yield CCPs using an electrostatic precipitator. The following CCPs can be separated from the coal combination byproducts using the presently disclosed methods: fly ash, bottom ash, scrubber materials, and raw coal.

METHOD FOR ELUTING CALCIUM FROM STEELMAKING SLAG, AND METHOD FOR COLLECTING CALCIUM FROM STEELMAKING SLAG
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for eluting Ca from steelmaking slag such that a large amount of Ca can be eluted from the steelmaking slag into an aqueous solution containing carbon dioxide. The present invention executes, in this order: a step for removing an iron-containing compound from steelmaking slag by performing magnetic separation on the steelmaking slag; and a step for bringing the steelmaking slag subjected to magnetic separation into contact with an aqueous solution containing carbon dioxide. In addition, the aqueous solution containing carbon dioxide and the steelmaking slag are brought into contact with each other while the steelmaking slag is being pulverized or the surface of the steelmaking slag is being ground.
