METHOD OF RECOVERING CATHODE ACTIVE MATERIAL PRECURSOR
A method of recovering a cathode active material precursor according to an embodiment of the present invention includes preparing a cathode active material mixture including a lithium composite oxide, separating lithium from the cathode active material mixture to form a preliminary transition metal precursor, acid-treating the preliminary transition metal precursor to form a complex transition metal salt solution, and adding an acidic extractant to the complex transition metal salt solution and then adding a basic compound to recover a transition metal precursor, and thus the extraction rate of transition metals can be improved.
CHROMATOGRAPHIC METHOD FOR SEPARATING TRANSITION METALS
A method for separating of at least two transition metals, the method comprising: injecting a feed solution into a chromatography column comprising a chromatographic support media, the feed solution comprising at least two transition metals; eluting the feed from the column in an elution cycle by flowing an eluent through the column, wherein a concentration of the eluent is reduced during the elution cycle prior to elution of at least one of the transition metals.
COMPREHENSIVE RECYCLING METHOD FOR WASTE LITHIUM IRON PHOSPHATE BATTERY
A comprehensive recycling method for a waste lithium iron phosphate battery relates to a waste lithium ion battery recycling technology, and particularly comprises: first selectively extracting lithium, and then using a lithium extraction residue to prepare iron phosphate, the using the lithium extraction residue to prepare the iron phosphate comprising: adding the lithium extraction residue to water to form a slurry, adding hydrochloric acid and stirring to react, so that iron is completely dissolved, performing solid-liquid separation, on the basis of iron and phosphorus contents of the obtained liquid, adding trisodium phosphate or ferric chloride, and then adding a sodium hydroxide solution to precipitate crude iron phosphate; and then performing reverse three-stage washing to remove impurities to obtain a battery iron phosphate product. The problem of environmental protection is solved and meanwhile, all of the valuable elements are recycled, and a relative cost is greatly reduced by about 25%.

OXYGENATED METAL COMPOUNDS FOR SELECTIVE EXTRACTION OF LITHIUM SALTS AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
A mobile phase including a lithium salt flows through a stationary phase including an oxygenated metal compound with affinity to the lithium salt through a Lewis acid-Lewis base interaction so that the oxygenated metal compound captures the lithium salt through the Lewis acid-Lewis base interaction. An eluent flows through the stationary phase to release the lithium salt captured by the oxygenated metal compound into the eluent. The eluent includes a Lewis base or a Lewis acid that disrupts the Lewis acid-Lewis base interaction between the lithium salt and the oxygenated metal compound. The eluent including the released lithium salt is collected after the eluent flows through the stationary phase.
WATER PRODUCING SYSTEM FOR A LIQUID TRANSFER MAT
A water producing system for a photovoltaic panel may include a moisture collection layer, a liquid transfer mat, and a moisture collection substrate. The moisture collection layer may collect moisture from condensation and direct moisture away from the photovoltaic panel. The liquid transfer mat may include a plurality of tubes through which a chilled heat transfer liquid passes. The moisture collection substrate may include a thermally conductive material. The chilled heat transfer liquid within the liquid transfer mat may absorb heat from the photovoltaic panel and from ambient air through the moisture collection substrate, thereby reducing a temperature of the photovoltaic panel and condensing water on the moisture collection substrate to produce water.

Method for producing lithium hydroxide monohydrate from brines
A method for LiOHH.sub.2O production from lithium-bearing multicomponent hydromineral raw materials includes filtering lithium-bearing brine contaminated with suspended particles with regeneration of filters and processing of used regenerate, and obtaining pregnant lithium-bearing brine, isolation of lithium chloride from the brine in the form of a primary concentrate in sorption-desorption modules, and nanofiltration of the primary lithium concentrate from magnesium, calcium and sulfate ions. By means of reverse osmosis, electrodialysis concentration and ion-exchange purification from impurities followed by thermal concentration, the primary lithium concentrate is converted into a pregnant lithium chloride concentrate which is converted into a LiOH solution by membrane electrolysis. The LiOH solution is boiled down, resulting in LiOH.H.sub.2O crystallization.
