Electromagnetic relay
An electromagnetic relay (100) has high wear resistance, high corrosion resistance, and good magnetic properties. The electromagnetic relay (100) includes a magnetic component including an alloy layer on its surface formed by diffusion-coating of at least one element selected from the group consisting of Cr, V, Ti, and Al. The alloy layer has a thickness of 5 to 60 μm, inclusive.

The slurry includes, by weight, between 10% and 40% metal powder, between 10% and 15% activator, between 10% and 20% adhesive, between 10% and 20% thickener, up to 30% ceramic, and up to 25% binder. The coating method includes providing a slurry including, by weight, between 10% and 40% metal powder, between 10% and 15% activator, between 10% and 20% adhesive, between 10% and 20% thickener, up to 30% ceramic, and up to 25% organic polymer binder, providing a substrate, applying the slurry over a surface of the substrate to form a slurry coating, drying the slurry coating over the substrate, baking the substrate and the slurry coating, and curing the slurry coating over the substrate. The curing the slurry coating over the substrate transfers metal elements of the metal powder in the slurry to the substrate to form a coating on the substrate.

FORMING ALUMINIDE COATING USING METAL ALLOY GRAVEL
Methods are provided for coating a component. In one such method, the component is disposed with metal alloy gravel comprising aluminum. An aluminide coating is then formed on the component, where the aluminum from the metal alloy gravel diffuses into the component to form the aluminide coating.

A process includes applying a slurry to a surface of a metallic article to produce a slurry film on the surface. The slurry is composed of a liquid carrier, chromium and aluminum, and an agent that is reactive with the chromium and aluminum to form intermediary compounds. The article and slurry film are then thermally treated at an activation temperature at which the agent reacts with the chromium and aluminum to form the intermediary compounds. The intermediary compounds deposit the chromium and aluminum on the surface. The thermal treating also diffuses the chromium and aluminum into a sub-surface region of the article such that the sub-surface region becomes enriched with chromium and aluminum.

Blade or vane for turbomachine with different diffusion protective coatings and method for manufacture thereof
The present invention relates to a blade or vane for a turbomachine, particularly for an aircraft engine, with a blade element for interacting with the flow medium, wherein the blade has different diffusion protective coatings in various regions on its surface for protection against corrosion and/or oxidation, wherein the diffusion protective coatings are produced by chromizing and/or aluminizing, wherein the blade element is divided into two regions along the longitudinal axis of the blade element, wherein the first region extends over 80 to 95% of the length of the blade element, and the second region extends over the remainder of the length of the blade element, and wherein in both regions, an AlCr diffusion protective coating is applied, and wherein in one of the regions, the AlCr diffusion protective coating has a higher Cr content.
