Bast stalk alignment feed and decortication system
A plant stalk decortication apparatus and method are provided. The apparatus includes an alignment system in which a series of rotating spindles with blades attached to the spindles are positioned over a bed on which plant stalks are longitudinally aligned and conveyed by the blades. The apparatus also includes rollers and breakers downstream of the blades for crushing and breaking the plant stalks to cause the bast fibers and hurd to separate. The apparatus also includes a suction chamber that separates loose bast fiber from hurd chips formed by the breakers.

HERBAGE FIBER MATERIAL NORMALIZATION ARRANGEMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD
The present invention discloses a herbage fiber material normalization arrangement apparatus and a method, wherein the apparatus comprises: a feeding device, a grinding device, a separation device and a dust collection device, the feeding device feeds materials to the grinding device; the grinding device includes a rack and multiple pairs of grinding rollers provided on the rack, installation shafts of driven rollers may displace up and down, the grinding device further includes springs which apply downward pre-tensioning forces to the installation shafts of the driven rollers; the separation device is used to separate scraps from bast fibers; the dust collection device includes a housing, a dust collection tube which communicates with an interior of the housing, and an exhaust fan which causes a negative pressure to be formed within the housing and the dust collection tube. A technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to overcome a disadvantage of an existing apparatus for separating the bast fibers and the epidermis in which the separation is incomplete or the bast fibers are damaged and the environment is polluted, and there is provided a herbage fiber material normalization arrangement apparatus which is able to not damage fibers and is environmentally friendly while separating the bast fibers and the epidermis.

NATURAL FIBER TREATMENT PROCESS
The invention refers to a natural fiber treatment process in order to enable the fibers to be conditioned for optimal yarn production, and subsequently of base fabrics. The process comprises the stages of an alkaline treatment, bleaching and the addition of a softening agent.
DECORTICATION SYSTEM AND PROCESS
A decortication system includes a feeder configured to convey unoriented fiber-bearing plant stalks in a bulk mass and a decorticator assembly comprising a multi-stage decorticator assembly. The decorticator assembly includes at least a first stage decorticator and a second stage decorticator arranged in series with one another. The first stage decorticator comprises a ripper that is configured to separate stalks from the bulk mass delivered by the feeder and to meter movement of stalks away from the ripper. The second stage decorticator is located downstream of the ripper and further decorticates the stalks to produce fiber and hurd that are separated from one another. It may comprise a roller-roller breaker assembly comprising plurality of roller-breaker assemblies located in series with one another. A third stage decorticator may be located downstream of the second stage decorticator and may comprise a second roller-breaker assembly.

DECORTICATOR AND DECORTICATING PROCESS
There is provided a device, process and system for decortication of biomass comprising hurd, bark and bast, such as long stalk biomass. Typically, one or more of the bark, hurd or bast generated by the decortication process or decorticator device is fed to a downstream process or downstream device such as a counter current extractor. The liquid or fibre products of decorticator, or the decorticator in combination with the counter current extractor may be further processed into their components.
