Polymer Complex
The present disclosure relates to a polymer complex containing microcellulose fibers comprising nanofibrils and fine particles: and a polymer matrix comprising a polyester resin. According to the present disclosure, there is provided a polymer complex capable of exhibiting excellent mechanical properties while being environmentally friendly by including cellulose fibers as a reinforcing material.
COMPOUND PAPER YARN, COMPOUND PAPER YARN MANUFACTURING DEVICE, AND COMPOUND PAPER YARN MANUFACTURING METHOD
A compound paper yarn manufacturing device includes a Japanese paper roll, a slitter configured to slit a Japanese paper sheet fed out from the Japanese paper roll to form a plurality of Japanese paper tapes, a distributor configured to distribute the plurality of Japanese paper tapes into each single Japanese paper tape, a plurality of pairs of slip rollers formed by providing a plurality of pieces of a pair of slip rollers that feed out each distributed single Japanese paper tape while slipping, and a covering machine including a plurality of single covering units configured to perform, with a first yarn added, false-twisting on the single Japanese paper tape fed out from the pair of slip rollers, and to cover with a second yarn.
Method for Producing Slit Carbon Fiber Bundle, Carbon Fiber Package, and Method for Producing Carbon Fiber Package
Provided is an improvement in a method for manufacturing a slit carbon fiber bundle. The method for manufacturing a slit carbon fiber bundle of the present invention is a method including a step of forming a resin film on one surface of a flat carbon fiber bundle to obtain a single-sided coated carbon fiber bundle, and a step of partially slitting the single-sided coated carbon fiber bundle using a slitter roll to obtain a slit carbon fiber bundle, which has been split into sub-bundles, wherein in the step of slitting, the single-sided coated carbon fiber bundle contacts a circumferential surface of the slitter roll on a surface where the resin film has been formed.
Method for producing chemically modified cellulose fiber
Provided is a method for producing a chemically modified cellulose fiber with which fibrillation can be performed along with sulfation reaction. The method for producing a chemically modified cellulose fiber includes a step (a) of treating a cellulose fiber with sulfamic acid to allow a cellulose fine fiber which is a constituent of the cellulose fiber to react with the sulfamic acid, thereby substituting some of hydroxyl groups of cellulose with a substituent represented by a structural formula (1) below (where M represents a monovalent to trivalent cation), and a step (b) of performing fibrillation simultaneously with the step (a). ##STR00001##
WOVEN IRRIGATION TUBING, APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME
Woven irrigation tubing comprises a woven, extrusion coated & laminated tube formed of a high density polyethylene (HDPE) outer layer, a low density polyethylene (LDPE) middle layer and a linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) inner layer. The finished tubing is treated for ultraviolet resistance. The tubing is tied off at a distal end with a proximal end connected to a pressurized irrigation source. Watering holes are created in the tubing at spaced intervals and the resulting water streams are directed into parallel plowed furrows. The tubing is completely recyclable. The tubing is formed by manufacturing tape for the woven outer tubing cover, stretching the tape along its length to strengthen it, weaving the outer layer from the tape, flattening the woven outer layer, extrusion coating each surface of the outer layer with LDPE, laminating the LLDPE inner layer to the LDPE, reversing and winding the tubing for storage and distribution.
