METAL DEPOSITION-BASED STRECHABLE ELECTRODE USING ELECTROSPUN MAT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
A metal deposition-based stretchable electrode using an electrospun mat and a manufacturing method therefor are disclosed. The stretchable electrode is a stretchable electrode comprising a conductive mat, wherein the conductive mat comprises: nanofibers including a polymer; and a conductive layer formed on the surface of the nanofibers and including a conductor. The stretchable electrode has air/fluid permeability and may have conductivity that exhibits a stable change even in a biaxial deformation environment.

A CLEANSING WIPE FORMED FROM A NONWOVEN INCLUDING ETHYLENE/ALPHA-OLEFIN INTERPOLYMERS
A cleansing wipe may be formed from a nonwoven and includes a first ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer and a second ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer. The cleansing wipe may also have a SaMbSc configuration, wherein the M, meltblown layer, is formed from the first ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer and the second ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer. The cleansing wipe may be formed a nonwoven comprising bicomponent fibers that incorporate the first ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer and the second ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer.
ETHYLENE-VINYL ESTER POLYMERS FOR ADDITIVE-MANUFACTURE FEEDSTOCK
The invention relates to an additive-manufacture feedstock, comprising an ethylene-vinyl ester polymer having a melt flow rate of from 0.1 to 150 g/10 min (190° C./2.16 kg), measured according to ASTM D 1238, and a vinyl ester content of from about 1.0 wt % to about 30 wt %, wherein the ethylene-vinyl ester polymer exhibits a Shore A hardness of at least about 60. The pellets and filaments produced from the additive-manufacture feedstock have a high degree of printability in material-extrusion-based 3D printing technology, and can be used to produce 3D printing articles with a high consistency to the targeted 3D model and substantially no warpage. The invention also relates to methods of making the additive-manufacture feedstock and methods of 3D printing using the additive-manufacture feedstock in various forms.
Carbon Fiber Precursors and Production Process
A new class of cost-effective carbon fiber precursors that comprise both hydrocarbon polymer and Pitch structural features in the same polymer structure to exhibit complementary advantages of both PAN- and Pitch-based carbon fiber precursors. The new class of carbon fiber precursors comprise a polymeric pitch copolymer, wherein the polymeric pitch copolymer includes a polymer chain and several pitch polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) molecules grafted or chemically bonded to the polymer chain. Method and processes for the creation of the new class of carbon fiber precursors are also presented, wherein said methods may comprise a thermally-induced coupling and extrusion step.
