Method of preparing polyester elastomer meltblown nonwoven fabric membrane with porous and high bonding strength
A method of preparing polyester elastomer meltblown nonwoven fabric membrane with porous and high bonding strength includes the following steps of: (a) Adding a reaction solvent to a reaction solvent to thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPEE) powder or granules to prepare a solvent mixture. (b) Adding a modifier to the solvent mixture, and mixing uniformly to prepare a first mixture, the modifier includes at least one of o-xylylenediamine, m-xylylenediamine, alpha, alpha′-diamino-p-xylene, 2,3,5,6-Tetrachloro-p-xylene-alpha,alpha′-diamine, and 1,3,5,7-Tetraazatricyclodecane. (c) Adding an initiator to the first mixture, and mixing uniformly to prepare a second mixture. (d) Drying the second mixture to form a masterbatch, and (e) preparing the polyester elastomer meltblown nonwoven fabric membrane by passing the masterbatch through a meltblown process.
Copolyester tape
Provided is a tape including a composition having a copolyester including polymeric units derived from ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid or a diester thereof and >0.50 and <5.00 wt % of polymeric units with regard to the total weight of the polyester derived from an oligomeric dihydroxy compound having a number average molecular weight of >500 g/mol and <5000 g/mol. Such tape has an improved tensile-impact strength and a reduced proneness to splitting during weaving.
POLYALKYLENE ETHER GLYCOL COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A polyalkylene ether glycol composition containing a nitrogen-containing compound, wherein the nitrogen-containing compound constitutes 0.2 to 40 mass ppm of the polyalkylene ether glycol in terms of nitrogen atoms. A method for producing the polyalkylene ether glycol composition through a purification step of decreasing the amount of acetal in the polyalkylene ether glycol composition.

Modified polyester having antibacterial properties and use of the modified polyester
A polyethylene terephthalate functionalized with polyether amine to obtain antibacte-rial properties is described. Described are also uses of and methods for producing this functionalized polyester.
METHODS OF MODULATING POLYMER RHEOLOGY FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
A method includes adding about 5 weight percent to about 25 weight percent of carbon nanotubes to a crystalline or semi-crystalline polymer to form a composite and forming a filament or particles from the composite, the filament or particles having a size suitable for use in additive manufacturing, in the absence of the carbon nanotubes a melt viscosity of the crystalline or semi-crystalline polymer is below 100 Pa.Math.s, preventing its use in additive manufacturing. The filament or particles comprising carbon nanotubes can be used in methods of additive manufacturing.
