SPINNING POSITION WITH A CLEANING NOZZLE AND METHOD OF CLEANING A YARN FORMING ELEMENT
The invention relates to a spinning position of an air-spinning machine, and to a method of cleaning a yarn forming element of an air spinning nozzle. To provide a spinning position of an air-spinning machine and a method for cleaning a yarn forming element of an air spinning nozzle of the air-spinning machine, which enable long and trouble-free operation while maintaining the quality and strength of the yarn produced, the spinning position has an air spinning nozzle with a yarn forming element arranged within a vortex chamber for producing a yarn from a fibre band supplied to the air spinning nozzle, in which case the air spinning nozzle can be transferred from a closed state for yarn formation to an open state in which the yarn forming element can be cleaned. In addition, at least one cleaning nozzle for cleaning the yarn forming element in the open state of the air spinning nozzle is arranged at the spinning position, the cleaning nozzle being designed, in particular positioned and/or aligned or positionable and/or alignable, in such a way that, at least in the open state of the air spinning nozzle, the yarn forming element can have a cleaning medium applied to it through the cleaning nozzle.

METHOD FOR CARRYING OUT AN AUTOMATIC CAN CHANGING PROCESS AT A SPINNING STATION OF A SPINNING MACHINE, AND SPINNING MACHINE AND MOVABLE CAN CHANGER
A method for carrying out an automatic can changing process at a spinning station of a spinning machine uses a movable can change. At the spinning station, a supply device delivers a sliver in a delivery direction from a sliver can positioned underneath the spinning station. The sliver is clamped with a clamp on the can changer and, once clamped, the silver is separated. after separation of the sliver, the supply device is driven counter to the delivery direction such that a sliver residue remaining at the spinning station is returned by the supply device and ejected from the spinning station.
Spinning unit of an air jet spinning machine and the operation of such a machine
A method and system for operating an air jet spinning machine, that features at least one spinning unit with one spinning nozzle for producing a yarn. During normal operation of the spinning unit, a fiber composite is fed to the spinning nozzle through an inlet and in a predefined transport direction. The fiber composite within a vortex chamber of the spinning nozzle receives a twist with the assistance of a vortex air flow, such that a yarn is formed from the fiber composite, which leaves the spinning nozzle through an outlet. After an interruption in yarn production, a piecing process is carried out, with which one yarn end on the spool side moves counter to the transport direction through the spinning nozzle, is overlaid with one end of the fiber composite after passing through the spinning nozzle and, together with this, is brought through the inlet into the spinning nozzle. After conclusion of the piecing process, the production of yarn is continued through the resumption of normal operation. During the piecing process, at least temporarily, additive is applied at the end of the fiber composite.
