METHOD FOR ARRANGING A FIBRE STRAND ON A SPINNING DEVICE OF A SPINNING STATION
A method for arranging a fibre strand on a spinning device of a spinning station, wherein the spinning device is fed the fibre strand in order to produce a spun thread from the fibre strand by means of a drafting unit having a plurality of roller pairs. The roller pairs of the closed drafting unit are each operated, in a manner corresponding to the predefined drafting ratio of the fibre strand, with an introduction speed lower than the operating speed of the drafting unit, the fibre strand is subsequently introduced into the clamping region of an input roller pair of the drafting unit and the drafted fibre strand, after passing through the closed drafting unit and exiting a clamping region of an output roller part of the drafting unit, is subsequently fed to the spinning device.
Method for feeding a sliver end, and spinning machine
A spinning machine and method are provided for feeding a sliver end of a sliver deposited in a can to a spinning position of the spinning machine, wherein the spinning machine includes a plurality of adjacently arranged spinning positions and a plurality of cans arranged in at least a first row under the spinning positions. With a sliver gripper of a robot, the method includes seeking the sliver end from one of the cans in an area that includes at least one adjacent spinning position to a spinning position to be supplied. The sliver end is grasped with the sliver gripper and fed to the spinning position to be supplied.
METHOD FOR SEPARATING A SLIVER DELIVERED OUT OF A SLIVER CAN AT A SPINNING STATION OF A SPINNING MACHINE, AND SPINNING MACHINE
A spinning machine and method separate a sliver delivered out of a sliver can at a spinning station of the spinning machine. The sliver is delivered out of the sliver can with a supply device at the spinning station in a delivery direction to a spinning device, and is guided by a sliver guide between the sliver can and the supply device. The sliver is clamped in the supply device at the spinning station. In order to separate the sliver, the supply device is driven counter to the delivery direction, wherein the sliver is returned by the supply device and, as a result, the clamping of the sliver in the supply device is released.
Method and apparatus for processing fibers
A process and an installation for producing a yarn in accordance with an airjet-spinning method. A carded fibre sliver is subjected to more than three-fold drawing without levelling at a carding machine and deposited in a can (C). At least nine fibre slivers are fed draftfree from cans (C) to a draw frame and subjected to at least 8.5-fold drawing to form a fibre sliver and deposited in a can (C1). The fibre sliver in the cans (C1) is then fed to a spinning station of an airjet-spinning machine.
Textile machine assembly comprising a sliver storage unit for the interim storage of sliver
A textile machine assembly includes a delivery unit and a receiving unit, wherein during operation of the textile machine assembly the delivery unit delivers a sliver to the receiving unit. A sliver storage unit is operatively configured between the delivery unit and the receiving unit to store, at least intermittently, excess sliver between the delivery unit and the receiving unit when a delivery speed of the sliver at the delivery unit is higher than a receiving speed of the sliver at the receiving unit, and to release the stored sliver when the receiving speed of the sliver at the receiving unit is higher than the delivery speed of the sliver at the delivery unit. The sliver storage unit includes a diverting unit that is movable with respect to the delivery unit or the receiving unit, wherein movement of the diverting unit changes a sliver path of the sliver from the delivery unit to the receiving unit.
Yarn delivery device for a twisting or cabling machine
Yarn delivery device for a twisting or cabling machine having a first deflection roller for deflecting a yarn; a driven godet, arranged downstream of first deflection roller in yarn transport direction; a separator roller, arranged relative to the godet such that a yarn can be laid several times around the separator roller and the godet, said yarn being wrapped around separator roller and godet jointly; and a pitch lever, having a second deflection roller arranged downstream of godet in the yarn transport direction, for deflecting the yarn again. A cantilever, having a third deflection roller, which, in the yarn transport direction, is arranged downstream of second deflection roller and upstream of traversing yarn guide for feeding the yarn onto a take-up package, second deflection roller being arranged on a different side of a vertical plane extending through axis of rotation of the separator roller from the third deflection.
Method for Feeding a Sliver End, and Spinning Machine
A method for feeding a sliver end (2) of a sliver (8) deposited in a can (9) to a spinning station (3) of a spinning machine (1), wherein the spinning machine (1) comprises a plurality of adjacently arranged spinning stations (3) including cans (9) located under the spinning stations (3) in at least one row, and wherein a robot (12) grasps the sliver end (2) with the aid of a sliver gripper (14) and feeds it to a spinning station (3a) to be supplied. According to the invention, the sliver end (2) is sought in an area of at least one of the adjacent spinning stations (3b) of the spinning station (3a) to be supplied, preferably in the area (Ba) of the spinning station (3a) to be supplied and of at least one of the spinning stations (3b) adjacent to this spinning station (3a), is taken up by the sliver gripper (14) and is then fed to the spinning station (3a) to be supplied. In the case of a corresponding spinning machine, the sliver gripper (14) is designed and/or arranged on the robot (12) in such a way that it can take up the sliver end (2) in an area (Bb) of at least one spinning station (3b), which is adjacent to the spinning station (3a) to be supplied, preferably in the area (Ba) of the spinning station (3a) to be supplied and in the area (Bb) of at least one of the spinning stations (3b) adjacent to this spinning station (3a), and then feed the sliver end (2) to the spinning station (3a) to be supplied.
