Spinning preparation machine
A spinning preparation machine includes a consolidating means for producing a roving having a protective twist from a fiber bundle, a drafting system arranged upstream of the consolidating means, a winding device arranged downstream of the consolidating means, and a movably mounted traversing element adjacent the winding device to guide the roving being wound onto a tube. In a side view of the spinning preparation machine, the consolidating means is arranged vertically between at least one feed roller of the drafting system and the traversing element, and the feed roller and the traversing element are arranged on a same side of the consolidating means so that in operation of the spinning preparation machine, the roving experiences a change in direction after exiting the consolidating means and prior to being wound onto the tube.

SYSTEM FOR TENSIONING A DRIVE BELT OF A DRAFTING SYSTEM WITH A DRAFTING SYSTEM AND A BELT TENSIONER
The invention relates to a tensioner for a spinning machine, having at least two pairs of rollers, which each have a top roller and a bottom roller, and at least one drive motor for driving at least one of the bottom rollers, wherein the at least one drive motor and the bottom roller, which can be driven by the at least one drive motor, are arranged on a bottom roller carrier, wherein the at least one drive motor, which is connected to the bottom roller via a drive belt, is arranged on the bottom roller carrier such that its distance from the bottom roller can be varied in order to set a drive belt tension. The invention further relates to belt tensioner jaws for adjusting the drive belt tension of a tensioner, and to a system for tensioning a drive belt of a tensioner, comprising a tensioner and a belt tensioner jaw.
In order to provide a tensioner, a belt tensioner jaw and a system comprising a tensioner and a belt tensioner, which enable simple adjustment of the drive belt tension, it is provided for the tensioner that the at least one drive motor is mounted on the bottom roller carrier so as to be pivotable about an axis of rotation and fixable in a set position.
Spinning Preparation Machine
The invention relates to a spinning preparation machine having at least one consolidating means for producing a roving (3) that has a protective twist and that is made of a fiber bundle (4) supplied to the consolidating means, having a drafting system (5) that is arranged upstream of the consolidating means in a running direction (L) of the roving (3) and that serves for drafting the fiber bundle (4) before the latter enters the consolidating means, having winding device (6) that is arranged downstream of the consolidating means in the aforesaid running direction (L) and that serves for winding the roving (3) onto a tube (7), and having a movably mounted traversing element (8) arranged in the region of the winding device (6) that serves for guiding the roving (3) while the latter is being wound onto the tube (7). In accordance with the invention it is suggested that, in a side view of the spinning preparation machine (1), the consolidating means is arranged vertically between at least one feed roller (9) of the drafting system (5) and the traversing element (8) mounted vertically therebelow, wherein the feed roller (9) and the traversing element (8), in the aforesaid side view, are arranged on the same side of the consolidating means so that when the spinning preparation machine (1) is operating, the roving (3) experiences a change in direction after exiting the consolidating means and prior to being wound onto the tube (7).

Sliver preparation
A drafting system for conveying a sliver to an inlet opening of a vortex chamber of an air-jet spinning device, for a drafting system having an exit roller pair and at least one additional drafting system roller pair and/or apron roller pair. A sliver is supplied at a spinning station of an air-jet spinning machine for the production of a thread to the vortex chamber. The exit roller pair can be driven decoupled from the at least one additional pair of drafting system rollers and/or apron rollers. In the method, the roller pair is driven for combing the sliver end after a spinning interruption at a predetermined combing speed and the at least one stretching mill roller and/or belt roller pair upstream of the starting roller pair is stopped or operated at a holding speed associated with the combing speed, which is at most 10% of the combing speed.
